Two Sisters and One Dead Brother

The Bible is full of beautiful and awesome episodes of human life in the transforming presence of Jesus Christ. The beauty of this story is the love that Jesus Christ had for Mary, Martha and Lazarus. The Bible is clear the Our Lord loves every soul and desires to save one and all. But this picture reveals his special love for those that have surrendered to Him. A Born Again believer is a member of His Family. We are sons and daughters of an eternal family. Heaven is soon to welcome us for the greatest celebration of human history. Lazarus was dead but his death had a greater purpose. The multitudes were slow to believe that Jesus was the Son of God. Raising Lazarus from the dead would prove that Jesus Christ was not just another Jewish imposter claiming to be that expected Prophet. He stood in the presence of death and commanded death to give back it’s victim. And it did!
