They Shall Lay Hands On The Sick And They Shall Recover
Jesus said it plainly, “..they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (St. Mark 16:18b). There is great resistance in the church world against any emphasis on Divine Healing. There has been an incredible number of false preachers and questionable practices connected with this subject. It is Satan’s business to produce so many false statements and claims that good people leave the truth alone. I have been a Christian for 58 years and I have seen or heard almost every crazy thing possible. At the same time I have continued to see real miracles in our ministry. I refuse to let the devil’s false claims cause me to doubt the Word of God. We have a brother right here in the Paw Creek church that had a gripping heart attack. I was out of town; but when I returned, I went to his home to pray. He was marvelously healed and went out to eat breakfast the very next morning. Just about six months ago he had a shattering stroke. His face was twisted and his speech was gone. Within one hour he was perfectly healed and every semblance of the stroke disappeared. That’s just two of many miracles that I have seen. I have seen a tumor disappear, cancer healed, and a host of beautiful answers to prayer. A dear lady testified last Sunday morning that her knee that was healed two weeks before and she has not had one pain in those two weeks. The Bible is to be believed, not guestioned. If you will not doubt, nothing that God has promised can be denied. The supernatural Bible cannot fail. “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him” (James 5:14-15). Our God is a Supernatural God!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Pastor Chambers,
Thank you for your encouragement in the matter of healing. I have some questions about the topic. Do all who are genuinely prayed for get healed? Does the person praying have to have the gift of healing? Does the person being healed have to have faith to be healed? Is it always God’s will for the person be healed?
I know these are puzzling questions. There was a minister named Douglas R. Scott who ministered in France during the 1900’s. He prayed for two years to be filled with the Holy Spirit and when he was his ministry became very effective. Many souls were saved and many were healed. He did say though that all were not healed. I share this with you to get your thoughts on the matter as I have high regard for your opinion.

I had a massive heart attack in 2004 and literally died. I was out over four minutes.
The doctors said I probably would not make it and if I did I would be a vegetable. My
family went immediately to the chapel to pray. Well I am here to tell you that I am not
a dead and I am not a vegetable.
God let me live to see my son come off drugs and to live his life for the past four years
drug free and he is not working for the Lord giving speeches to drug rehab facilities.
God is still in the healing business.

I’VE BEEN PRAYING FOR THE SALVATION OF A MAN I USED TO WORK WITH. WE ARE JUST FRIENDS AND MEET OCCASSIONALLY FOR DINNER. HIS NAME IS RANDY KLEIN. I WOULD SO MUCH APPRECIATE ANY PRAYERS FOR HIM. I WANT THE DOORS/BARS THAT SEEMS TO BE KEEPING THIS MAN FROM TURNING HIS LIFE OVER TO CHRIST TO BE DEMOLISHED, TORN DOWN TOTALLY. HE is our HEALER. and no one has to be saved to be healed, in fact G-d one soldier to go and find that his son was healed. Sometimes some are healed and because of it get saved. I got cancer in 1994, throat cancers. FEAR set in..my Mother had died of colon cancer. at that time I was getting into the word. I saw the scripture of how if we ask the Holy Spirit , He will lead us into all truth. then I gat mad at myself and at satan, and asked G-d to heal me. HE DID !! then in 99 while getting kinda scared it came back in a different place. satan wanted me to loose my faith. I prayed again. I was totally healed. my son had gone into the army. he became a drug user an drinker. from age 18 to age 40, I was so upset, but just kept on praying. A yr ago, he came back to Christ and is drug and drink free. I don’t have to tell you the horrible time those yrs a mom goes thru. He is faithful..HE IS ALMIGHTY G_D with ALL POWER.
