The Prodigal’s Sorrows

A prodigal’s life is the worse of all sinners. The Holy Ghost spoke through Apostle Peter the following, "For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after they have known it, to turn from the Holy commandments delivered unto them. For it is happens unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again: and the sow (hog) that was washed to her wallowing in the mire" (II Peter 2: 21-22). There is no hell on earth like the hell of being a backslider or a Prodigal.
