The Midnight Cry (It Is Extremely Important)
I’m SENDING this Sermon again since we had no church last Sunday. (SNOW) It will be too late to repent and go in the Rapture after the Midnight Cry. This is one of the most important lessons from the Lord Jesus Christ. There have been multiple efforts to prove this great truth to be about anything but the Pre-Tribulation Rapture; but, the lesson is perfectly clear. Every keyword in this entire text is Rapture truth. The ten virgins are believers that were living Biblical lives. They were virgins; you cannot make something unclean out of that word. In this sermon I emphasis the “oil” that was missing from the vessels. The fire had gone out because the “oil” was depleted. “Oil” in the Holy Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, represents the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the author of everything that happens in a Christian’s life. We are convicted, converted, sanctified, kept, anointed, and preserved for Christ by His Spirit. Paul said, “Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:9b). When Jesus comes, and the Midnight Cry sounds, every person in which the active powers of Jesus Christ are at work by the Holy Spirit will go into the Supper. From the youngest Christian to the oldest, the living, saturating, and transforming power of the Spirit at work in their vessel will guarantee their presence in that great Rapture to the Father’s presence.

Brother Joe:
I need to understand something about your last message regarding the Rapture and the Ten Virgings. Is it your position that five virgins were “left behind”; that they had somehow lost their salvation by the way they lived their lives? Did you mean to imply that one can lose the Holy Spirit and, thus, his salvation by not living a proper Christian life after being saved?
Brother Jim,
I believe in Eternal Security, but not in “Once saved always saved.” My security is in Jesus Christ and the power of His Holy Spirit. I still have my free will and if I am stupid I can leave my walk with the Lord. Believe me there is no way I would walk away from the Lord.
Why would I need a false sense of security when I’ve Got The Lord and His mighty powers?
All that doctrine does is give people an excuse to live careless. When you are Born Again you are a new creature and there is no desire to live in sin. Read Romans chapter six carefully and sowly. Let every word be from God. Then read II Peter 2:19-22 and see what the Holy Ghost said by Apostle Peter. Saved people do not need a false prop.

Dear Pastor Chambers
During the persecution of the church in Rome, simply confessing Jesus Christ would put one to death. Am i to assume that 5 virgins would have not in that situation?
God Bless my Christian Bretheren

As I read this I would have to question that thought.5 believers vs 5 non believers would
be more correct. Once saved I see no scripture to suggest that you can lose your
salvation.Your rewards in Heaven depend on your life on earth.

Dear brother Joseph,
Maybe the oil is the love for the Bridegroom, Jesus is coming for a Bride who is crazily in love with Him, not one with a marriage contract from a lawyer or notary. And when you are crazily in Love, it do not matter if you are pre-,post- or midtrib believer, if you believe the virgins are christians or jews; When you are so in love, no matter what, you will prepare yourself to be as beautiful as possible, with the help of the Holly Spirit; to please your Bridegroom on the day we will meet Him there up in the sky.

It is a free gift. No one can pluck us out of His hand. I think that people have eternal security when saved. What you teach regarding this should be looked at more closely. I think it is well to examine ourselves, but if we turn our backs, well, I am not sure about that part. I think you ar doing a disservice to less sophisticated believers of whom many are more frightened by things.
Degrees of rewards are determined by our behavior but our salvation is secure.
Roy Erikson
I do believe that salvation is conditional, and a saved person can backslide. I don’t believe in eternal security because in Revelation 3:16 it says, So then because thous art lukewarm, and neither hot or cold, I will spew you out of my mouth. And in Galations 5:4 it talks about people falling from grace.

Pastor Chambers and Everyone Else:
Believers who get the wrong idea about salvation can and will relax in their walk with the Lord, not realizing they must hold fast to their faith (Rev 2:25; Rev 3:10; 1 Cor 15:1; 1 Cor 9:26; 2 Tim 4:7; Rev 2:10; Phil 2:16;
2 Thes 2:15; 2 Tim 1:13; Heb 3:6; Heb 4:14; Heb 10:23; Col 2:18; and Titus 1:9) and strive to enter into the fullness of Christ (Heb 4:11). According to Paul, our salvation is secure providing we are in the faith and press on towards the high calling in Christ Jesus (Phil 3:12-14).
The apostle Paul warns we are in a race. To run hard is commitment to struggle. Paul warns if we fail to develop self-control, self-denial, and love towards others, we (including preachers and teachers) could be rejected by God (1 Cor. 9:27). Paul talks about God’s rejection of us in 2 Cor. 13:5. Paul says we are to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith by abiding in Christ. Paul tells us he labors with us until Christ be formed in us (Gal 4:19). Paul tells us not to be ignorant (1 Cor. 10:1-12) and points us to the example set by Israel.
God delivered Israel from bondage in Egypt, baptized them in the Red Sea, and sustained them in the wilderness by abiding daily in their mist. However, many Israelites drifted away from the truth and therefore died in the wilderness because of unbelief. They did not enter the Promise Land because they failed to hold fast to their faith. This Old Testament account is an example for believers today. The long judgment upon Israel serves as a stern warning for believers to get serious about their walk with the Lord. Paul assures us that no believer need fall from grace and live in lack and without reward.
Ray Comfort, founder of The Way of the Master Ministries, said, Jesus warns there is no division in the Kingdom of God for those who are lukewarm towards Him (Rev 3:16). Jesus said the lukewarm would be spewed out of His mouth on the Day of Judgment. Lukewarm believers are converts who are not part of the Body of Christ; they merely weigh heavy within the stomach of His body until such a time as He vomits them out! These are those who are hard and insensitive to the fact that Jesus died on the cross for them; they have not been broken down by the digestive action of the Word that they might be absorbed into the Body of Christ; they have not been broken down to become his hands, feet and mouth. They are indifferent to reading the Bible, church attendance and reaching the lost.
Professing believers who acknowledge and learn about the doctrines of salvation may believe the gospel and yet fall short of allowing the gospel to convert them. To profess belief in the gospel and remain unconverted by its truth is the end of an unprofitable servant.
Yes, I believe in eternal security. The Bible teaches eternal security belongs to those who abide in Christ (John 15). Christ is life and being found in Him is the ‘whole truth’ supporting the argument for eternal security. Abiding in Christ is the LINK that binds the gift of faith to the working out of our salvation by the indwelling Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:12).

So you are saying that, once one is truely saved, he will never sin again? I don’t know ANYONE that doesn’t sin. Please explain
Lynwood Sibley
the motto is Don’t walk away from the Lord and find out because it says in Hebrews if you
once tasted of Holy Spirit and go back their is no more repent Heb 6,4 thru Heb 6,8
and also the scripture says do not tempt the Lord thy GOD
Charles
Salvation is a free gift from Christ Jesus, ” not of works, lest any man should boast”It is not “earned” Why would God give you something, then , take it back?
Charles
Jesus said the lukewarm would be spewed out of His mouth on the Day of Judgment. Lukewarm believers are converts who are not part of the Body of Christ;
Where in the Word, does it say that Christ spews that church out of His mounth , ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT. The day of judgement is much later in the Revelation.
How can ya be a “convert” and not be saved? So this means Chris died for me, then saved me and because sometimes Satan temps more than I can bear, I am lost again? That’s not much of a gift then is it? Why would someone want to get saved, only to find out if he ever sins again, he will be lost again?
When a man and wife have a son, that son is ALWAYS the son of that father. Even if the son becomes prodigal, his father is still his father, is he not?
What about the thorn in Paul’s flesh? How many times did Paul get saved? Did Peter lose his salvation when he denied Christ? Is there any direct reference to someone in the New Testament that got saved, lost his salvation, then got saved again? I just cannot understand how ANY MAN can live a “sinless” life, even after Christ has saved him.It is human nature and satan is there to temp us and try to make us sin. There are MANY sins other than in the 10 Commandments and all men are sinners.
Chuck
In Romans 8 we read that NOTHING can separate us from the love of God. If works can’t save us then how can they keep us saved? And if we can lose our salvation then how many sins would it take to do that? If it were possible to lose our salvation then it would only take one sin for that to happen which means that we would all lose our salvation. God is holy and one sin would be enough to separate us from God. Grace is not a license to sin as Paul mentions in Romans. If someone sins and takes pleasure in sinning after they have supposedly asked Jesus to save them from their sins and there is no repentance then I would question whether they really have the Holy Spirit in them. Charles Spurgeon has a wonderful sermon on backsliding that you can google and it’s very enlightening. Someone who really truly has the Holy Spirit dwelling in them cannot lose their salvation. A truly saved person is tempted to sin by Satan and his minions. If, after we have been saved and I mean really saved, there is no way that God would allow satan to steal us away from Him. If that were possible then Jesus would have died in vain because according to 1 John we still sin and if we say we don’t then the truth is not in us.
I believe the 5 unwise virgins are what we are actually talking about here. I think they are those who have all the appearance of being saved but aren’t. I think that they are those who have made false professions of faith. I agree with Paul Washer when he says that just saying the sinners prayer doesn’t make us Christians. I believe firmly that there have been hundreds and even thousands that have said that prayer and the only reason they said it was because they’ve been told that all they have to do is pray that prayer and they will be saved. What these false Christians don’t understand and haven’t been told is that salvation comes only to those who are drawn by the Holy Spirit to repentance as we see ourselves as we really truly are – wretched sinners. And then there are others who think that because of their works they are saved.
I believe the oil is the Holy Spirit. There are many who profess to be Christians but they aren’t and the proof is in the fact that they don’t have the oil – or the Holy Spirit in them. A true Christian will have some sort of fruit in him and some of us may have more fruit than others. When we stand before God to be judged by what we did for Him on earth and what fruit we have is what will determine our reward that we will be given.
Notice what the Bridegroom told the five foolish virgins in Matt 25:12 after the foolish virgins asked to be let in to the wedding feast: “But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.” If we are born again believers then this statement can’t apply to us, but rather, it applies to all those who for one reason or another thought they were saved but really never were.

Who is your Jesus? Paul warned of another Jesus? The true Jesus who kept all God Feast Days. Then their the pagan jesus who man said you can keep now pagan holdays. Their the ture Jesus that said nothing changes in the old testament until haven and earth passes. The other jesus teacher say it been done away and that we can be like the world religions. The True Jesus the FaTHER and Jesus are one. The other jesus man teaches got rid of the 7th day sabbath and gave us sunday and other shanges. The true Jesus healed on the 7th day because it the sign of His covenant. He also rose from the grave on the 7th day because He was in the grave 3 days and 3 nights. If He rose on sunday morning He would have been in the grave 4 nights. In matt.5 those who keep Jesus and the Father feast Days will receive the great reward and those who didn’t will receive the least.

The Biblical Teaching of The Ten Virgins Story is perhaps the most Difficult to
understand and Most Disturbing. Not because It Is Obscure, but because It Deals
Such A Blow to our “CHRISTian” complacency. There Is Another Chapter Hardly Less
Disturbing In Saint Matthew : The Last Part Of The Sermon On The Mount,
Where JESUS SPOKE about those who came TO HIM On Judgment Day, citing their deeds
in HIS SERVICE, only to be answered “I Never Knew you”, and to be called “workers
of iniquity”. HE SAID The Same Phrase to The Five Foolish Virgins.
Therefore let us heed Saint Paul’S Admonition To Work Out our own salvation with
Fear And Trembling; and Dread With The Apostle, The Horror of being “left behind” after
preaching to others.
And Above All, pray For THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDANCE In Understanding This Vital Passage.
GOD BLESS you Pastor Chambers For Touching Upon Usually Overlooked, Yet Inescapable Doctrines.

Hello Pastor Joseph.
The “Once saved- always saved” debate is one I think can go on endlessly. Each side can present credible evidence. I myself do not think that OSAS is correct but admit that I myself might be wrong, too! This is why:
1) Though Jesus said no one can snatch a person from his hand (John 10:27-29), I do not believe this precludes someone from exercising their own free will and walking away.
2) There are references in the Bible of one’s name being blotted out from the Book of Life (Exodus 32:32, Revelation 3:5; 22:19). To be included is to be saved. To be excluded is to ultimately end up in the Lake of fire (Revelation 20:15). I believe that whether or not someone’s name appears in this book at the point of death will determine where he or she ends up for eternity.
3) Note the reference to the branches in Romans 11:17-25. They can be grafted in, cut loose afterward, or re-grafted. This appears to be a dynamic process, not a static one which never can change. Though Paul is using the Israelites and Gentiles as examples here, I think it applies to individuals as well. God is always consistent.
Perhaps what we should concentrate upon is staying focused on Jesus and maintaining our belief in him and him alone for our salvation. To prove or disprove OSAS, we would have to know another person’s mind to see if some who were once “true believers” could indeed fall away and be lost. Since we cannot, this question I believe cannot be answered with 100% certainty, either.

to brother charles ==the question is can you throw the gift of salvation away
not weather GOD takes it away you have free will and can do as you wish
Lynwood Sibley
sin and walking away from the Lord are two different things walking away is going back
to being a athiest–buddahist ==etc walk with the Lord and you will be OK its walking
away thats the problem sin you can go to the cross and walking too far away its a long
hike back

I HEAR SO MANY PEOPLE SAY THAT SECURITY IS CONDITIONAL, BUT I NEVER HEARD THOSE PEOPLE
SAY THEY LOST THEIR SECURITY FORT 5 MINUTES.
IF PEOPLE CAN READ THE KJV BIBLE, THEY WILL FIND IT IS THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN, WHEN IS
THAT? YOU MUST HAVE A KING FIRST. HE COMES FOR HIS KINGDOM AT THE SECOND ADVENT. IF, MATHEW
25 IS APPLIED TO THE CHURCH, THEN THE CHURCH MUST GO THROUGH THE TRIBULATION.
MATHEW 25 DEALS WITH TRIBUALTION JEWS WHERE FAITH AND WORKS IS REQUIRED. YOU MUST
LOOK FOR HIM, IF NOT HE SHALL NOTB APPEAR. THIS LINES UP WITH HEBREWS CH 4. ALSO ISAIAH 11 11.
SO MANY PENTACOSTALS MISS THAT. THEY APPLY EVERYTHING TO THE CHURCH THAT DOES NOT ALWAYS DOCTRINALLY
APPLY TO THEM….THAT IS CALLED STEALING. THE CHURCH IS A CHASTE VIRGIN NOT 10 VIRGINS OR 5 VIRGINS.
MATHEW IS WHAT US BIBLE BELIEVERS AS A TRANSITIONAL BOOK…IT APPLIES TO THE CHURCH AGE…THETRIBULATION AGE….THE MILLENIAL AGE MATHEW 5 THROUGH 7. ACTS IS A TRANSITIONAL BOOK.
IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME? LOOK AT ALL THE INSTANCES HOW THEY GOT SAVED. JAMES APPLIES TO THE TRIB.
IF YOU READ THE FIRST VERSE….TO THE 12 TRIBES OF ISRAEL SCATTERED. YOU CAN READ CANT YOU? THIS
IS DURING THE TRIBULATION PERIOD. 2 PETER APPLIES TO THE TRIB…IN DEALING WITH FALSE PROPHETS
THAT SHALL ARISE DURING THE TRIB. YOU DONT BELIEVE ME? LOOK IT UP IN MATHEW. WE MUST ENDURE SOUND

Eternal Security and/or once saved always saved are basically the same thing. It is the elect or the chosen(Mark 13:20),those who within the fold and who are obedient to God that will be spending their everlasting life with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Nobody nor anything can change the fact of who God’s elect are. The only thing we can do to become a member of the elect is to ask forgiveness of our sins, repent of those sins, ask God to have mercy on our soul and ask Him to make us one of His elect.
James
Brother James,
At least you understand the Calvinist doctrine. To believe in “Once Saved always saved” you must also believe in “Unconditional Election”. They are part and lot to each other.
But the truth is they are both false. “Whosoever Will, let him come, was the words of our Lord”, and if you can chose to come you can chose to leave. Nothing else can ever take you away from the Lord’s wonderful LOVE.
WE differ, but lets be friends. If we are both saved by His Blood, we are BROTHERS.
