“THE HARBINGER”, IS IT LUCIFERIAN DELUSION?

A MIXED REVELATION IS ALWAYS A FALSE MESSAGE AND IT IS BIBLICALLY DANGEROUS. When elements of Truth are joined with methods of error, the result is confusion and the hardening of hearts. The Holy Bible is the most powerful declaration of right and wrong, good and bad, and truth and error in the world. If you take the Bible and choose a false Prophet to declare it, you muddy the message until it destroys the source. There is no question but the book, “THE HARBINGER” is just such a piece of literature.
Does America need to repent? It is absolutely the only answer to stop the decline and destruction of our Nation. Is the author of this book a good decent man? I would suggest that he is indeed. Then how should the Church respond to a book that is clearly mixing truth about our nation and questionable things about our Bible? Discernment; clearly both Biblical discernment and wise interpretation of the Scriptures is the the only choice.
This book is a mixture of fiction and absolute declarations. Over and over the author declares that our response must be repentance and a total return to God. How do we obey the warning presented in a book of fiction? It is a literal impossibility for a book to be both a fictional work and a serious call for repentance. In the pulpit a fictional preacher would know better than to end with an altar call. He would be laughed out of town.
The author states in the opening chapter,
“How? How could an ancient mystery possibly…”
“Affect you life? Your bank account? Your future? But it does.
And it holds the key to America’s future…to the rise and fall
of nations…to world history,…. And it’s not only a mystery, it’s a
message, an alarm.” (The Harbinger, Cahn, page 3)
So this book really is not fictional at all. He is warning us that this book is the picture of, not just America, but the future of the World. Yet this work carries all the elements of fiction; the prophet never truly reveals himself. The seals are so mysterious that following them requires incredible imagination. Quotes from different people are woven together in a hodgepodge fashion. Yet, we are warned that if we do not repent we will be destroyed. And yet this message lacks the tried and true message of the Holy Bible in it’s call to repentance.
Firstly, our Bible clearly warns us that it is unacceptable to superimpose truth from the Jewish dispensation onto the Church dispensation. When scriptures are spoken by the prophets of God to Israel and then they are destroyed because they do not obey, that truth can be spiritually applied in all periods of history. But, the message must be applied spiritually and not loosely tied to events with absolute dictatorial commands. If we confuse the nation of Israel with the Church or America, we are guilty of “Replacement Theology. America cannot, in any sense of the truth, be compared to the Nation of Israel. We have never been a theocracy and we never will be until the millennial kingdom. To try and create a sense of post-millennialism or dominionism is utterly false doctrine and unacceptable to believers in the Pre-Tribulational Rapture.
Our prophetic future is revealed in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, First Corinthians, First and Second Thessalonians, etc. However, the best picture is found in the book of Revelation. To set those books aside and resort to a message absolutely given to the ten northern tribes of Israel is a biblical nightmare. It is utterly contrary to the sound biblical doctrines of the End Times. There may be many similarities but the fulfillment is totally different. We are at the door of the Anti-Christ revelation and the seven years of the Great Tribulation but that finds no place in Cahn’s Theology.
But, the greater picture is seen in the unnamed, unknown and unseen (except to the author) of this mysterious prophet that must be credited with the total message of the book,“The Harbinger”. The complete message rests upon our confidence in this, Author declared, prophet. There is no possibility of rightly calling this man that is appearing to Jonathan Cahn a prophet. Maybe we could call him a spirit, but if so, is he a holy spirit or an unclean spirit? The only way we can discern this prophet’s quality is by his actions and words because there is no additional data about him. Remember, we are emphatically told, “know them which labour among you”. (I Thessalonians 5:12)
Every prophet in the Bible was an extraordinary man. They had names, families, backgrounds, and personalities. They ate and lived among the people that believed in them. They spoke the truths of God in a clear voice, with signs and wonders that were real and life changing. There is not a single case in which these Bible prophets represented any character or conduct of the occult world. Yet this unknown voice is involved in almost every characteristic of the Esoteric world. Over and over he is Psychic in each appearance and action (MORE TO FOLLOW THIS WEEK. I will document many Luciferean actions in this book.)

with all due respect- i did not take this as replacement theology or a lucieferian in any sense of the word. We acknowledge taht we are a Blessed nation and he even mentions that George Washington prayed and repented the day he took office. and had all of his members do so as well. we have lost our way as a Christian nation and this rabbi is pointing out to us not ALL of the answers as to what is to happen with the pre trib, the rapture, the anti-christ. he’s simply shown us Christians and Jew’s that what happened on 9/11 very much correlates to what happened in israel when they turned their back on God. he’s not saying taht we are the promised land, or the apple of God’s eye…but we are in deed a blessed nation and God has a lot to do with that. We are Israel’s ally and there is no better ally to have.

I agree with your thoughts on re-placement theology. We have been in the last days since the day of Pentecost and now we are in the last of the last days and the scriptures say there will be a great falling away of the Church. A country can’t repent. it has to be individuals that repent. There is no such thing as a “Christian” country. Few there be who find it.

oh I thought of one more thing as I was fixing to click submit, (because I am listening to you as I am writing) You were reading an email of one who got aggravated at you for not letting him do as he pleased, The gentleman asked why didn’t you have Mr Kahn on your show to defend himself. Now I heard you answer, and I have a question concerning my understanding of scripture. I feel according to scripture that once a person becomes a public speaker, and their message is in error that we do not have to worry about trying to reach them. The reason I feel this way is for a couple of scriptures, 1)Paul said, if any come preaching any other gospel than that which ye have received…”Let them be accursed” Gal.1:8-9, He does not tell us to try to reach them, or debate them. He says let them be accursed (condemned). and then 2) also 2 John tells us, if they “have not this doctrine”, he does not say to discuss, or debate. he says to.. “NOT EVEN LET THEM IN OUR HOUSE”. For if we do, and even bless them we become a partaker of their evil-deeds. And, I feel The Word of God, is not open to debate (Eph.4).For God has given the gift of the Fivefold ministry to teach the church TRUTH. And this stance I feel has great importance especially in a time that is so full of people who put so much importance upon their ideas,or understanding. Much of which is the product of modern learning, i.e. dialectics, and consensus. “earthly wisdom”which God calls “foolishness” 1 Cor.1. What do you think of this stance I hold? I am asking because I have seen preachers I have held in very high regard, ANd they had people on thier shows whom I felt fitted the description above, and In the end I always seen the lost out there Lost, and dying, and perhaps turning and listening to this ignorance calling it a debate. We as Spirit Filled children of God speak with authority, Like Peter on the day of Pentecost. I do know the Great Tribulation is only 42 months not 7 years. God the same yesterday today and forever. If Jesus changed the 7th day sabbath to sunday he would be an anti-christ. For God warned us the anti-christ would change the seasons [seasons are appointed times; Feast Days and Sabbath. If Jesus gave us new holy days as easter and christmas then he is the anti-christ. Also if you keep these false teaching your part of the anti-christ. Jesus did say their are many anti-christ. The church never replace Israel. But the christian church did turn Jesus into an anti-christ. The Feast of First Fruit is celebrated at the end of the 7th day Sabbath in the week of Passover. No, they are not the Word of God but can present it to show God’s call to repentance for those who would never read a Bible but enjoy fiction. God can use many ways to draw people to Him. True, after they repent, they will search the Scriptures, but many will not before they do. Please present Scripture to call attention to error, not just rant on and on.

Joseph trying to say the new testament church can’t have the old testament jewish history. If it dose they will have to go threw the Great Tribulation. Joseph is a two tongue preacher. One preacher put it the Jews are married to God and the christian are married to Jesus. That would not make Jesus and the Father One. Making Jesus greater then His Father where Jesus believers will not go threw the great tribulation and the Jews do.
The Word of the Father [Jesus] is one with the Father. Jesus never added anything to the Word or change the Word. If Jesus did he not the Messiah. As both in the new and old Testament teaches and your cursed.
For example christian churches put up their pagan christmas and they don’t understand why their all these gay christians. Put Exodus 20:5 curse on the 3rd and 4th generation for idol worship. Romans chapter 1 tells us the curse. Santa became like Jesus in the late 1800’s 3rd and 4th generation ago.
Puting Jesus name on easter and good friday and christmas is using Jesus name in vain. Jesus name only relates to The Father Word. Because He is the Word of the Father.

I agree 100% with what Mike says on June 2 and Judy. I heard the author in an interview and in no way is this replacement theology. He is Jewish after all, and a Cohen at that. The man is a Messianic Rabbi, so why would he teach something that he is clearly against his beliefs?
I’m not sure why you are so against this book. Possibly you should call the author and discuss it before coming to some of the conclusions that you have, I’m sure he would be more than willing to speak with you.

I did see the CD he produced. I have to agree with Pastor Chambers, it did not add up according to Scripture. What I understood from the Rabbi, if the world would repent, it would create the Kingdom of God on earth. A man made kingdom, not a heavenly Kingdom as spoken of in Rev. I have not read the book, nor will I.
Also, there is a new movement called the KJV Only’s. We now have a special label. This movement wants to remove the KJV once and for all.

I wonder why God waited 1700 years to “reveal” an antichrist, the rapture, seven year great tribulation? Fabricated from the carnal hearts of men? We do not need more end time “stuff”, we need a NOW revelation of Jesus the Christ.

To Pastor Beard: You totally misunderstood what I said and your rebuttal is judgement of me and what I believe. I totally agree with 1 Corinthians 1:21 and wish the churches would get back to preaching instead of an hour of “praise” music, “worship” so-called, etc and then no time for the Word. But to say that only preaching is the only way (method) of reaching the lost is NOT saying that there are many ways to Jesus, nor approval of drama, movies, rock music, dancing, and all the entertainment, and false doctrine in the churches today. I am not part of any of the things you list and seem to connect me with. If fiction is not a way to reach people, why did Bro. Chambers write a fiction book? Why did Jesus use parables which are an earthly “story” with a heavenly meaning? Our whole life should be focused on reaching the lost. Jesus is the only way. There will be millions lost who will never hear a sermon, yet can be drawn to Jesus by scripture presented through literature, even fiction, that applies real truth to them. If ONLY preaching is how people will be saved, why all the Christian literature by the old saints of God and those today who are preaching the Word. I do not believe in entertainment in or related to the church. I am a KJV Bible reading and following Christian, born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. It is very difficult to find any church or “Christians” who are not “proud” that they are more spiritual than anyone else, really preach God’s Word and live what He teaches. There are too many sitting in the sidelines waiting to jump on the first thing they read that is not what they think it should be and then harshly criticize. This is why the world is going to hell. So many of those who call themselves Christians are nothing but Job’s comforters, rather than having the spirit of Christ which presents the gospel in truth with love. brother, you need to check out James 1:19, John 7:24, and 1 John 4:7-8 & 20-21. Condemnation comes from the devil so “Christians” need to be careful what they say. Conviction comes from God and my heart is clear on this matter. It is so hard to find Christians that want to exalt Christ rather than tear everyone down. The Word will show the way. God bless you.

I also am Messianic and don’t believe the author to purposely be leading any from the truth. Yet associations with men of little if any discernment such as Sid Roth and Rick Joyner except to be interviewed about his book is scary. Can the scriptures be used in this book make one think that it could cause some to repent? Yes they may because the word will not return void. Remember if this is written as fiction as a story then I have no problem with it as I don’t books by Frank Perretti. But to say this book also holds hands with end time events that are and will be coming against us then thats where it leaves me behind. I look at is a a book that seems to have had coincidences in the former tribes of Israel and how that compares to now as America is mired in rebellion against God. I can even go as far as taking warnings issued by it inrelation to America’s actions or lack thereof and see a semblance of the actions that caused or are causing both societies to fall by it’s walking from God and whoring after other Gods. Yet it still is and always will be a work of fiction and can never been used as a work directly inspired by the Holy Spirit. It has done what was intended to do, make us think and maybe make us look into the past history of when the chosen frozen lost all to follow in their sin and how we are eerily simular in our own history. I am one of those who believe repentance is possible for America, but not probable. I see judgment coming and it has already started in earnest and I don’t see our immoral culture surviving but yielding to more and nore evil until Yeshua calls us home.

Hi all! I can greatly appreciate it when someone is so passionate about telling others the truth, and for trying to help them. But sometimes it’s easy for any of us to get “dogmatic” as though we have all the answers. I humbly submit that the attack against Lainey was uncalled for. Yes, there is ONLY ONE WAY {JESUS!!!} to get to the Father ~ to get to heaven. But the Lord can use various ways to draw people to Himself and I agree with her that it can also be through the work of fiction books. Even Romans 1 talks about how people COULD COME to the Lord simply by means of simply observing His creation if only they would.

I greatly appreciated Lainey’s well thought out & godly response & even copied it to my saved files.
Also while it is of great importance that Christians witness (or preach) to bring in the harvest — I do not see anywhere in Scripture where obeying this is any “greater” than any other directive we are given. Remember, as the body, we all have “different gifts”. The Apostle Paul even said some plant, some water, some harvest.
Instructions unto righteousness are given throughout the New Testament, even as how children should act unto their parents, and how wives are to be to their husbands. I don’t see anywhere where everyone is ordered to go stand on a street corner & start yelling out the gospel to everybody. In today’s world? Would likely be locked up as a lunatic.
Obeying ALL the New Testament Scripture, not just the part of it to get out & preach to people, is what is pleasing to the Lord.
Back to subject at hand, I do not know if this Harbinger book truly has satanic connections or not; I have not read it nor do I plan to.
BTW, the purpose of this post is not to “get on to anybody” ~ but rather I come as a peacemaker & I pray that it will be received in that way. The Lord knows my heart. Personally I could easily spend my whole week listening to good solid, Biblical preaching, but then I’d be neglecting my other duties to “work if he wants to eat” and of being a helpmate to my husband, etc. So I certainly have nothing against preaching!! ~ as long as it is totally grounded in the Word.

Thank you for the warning of this book the Harbinger, as if a partial fiction would be sent from God, every word that proceeds from our Lord’s mouth does not return empty, empty thoughts are the thoughts of men.It is shear foolishness to present potential error with the word of the Lord.
To those whom perscribe to the thought that we can be Jewish and be Christian at the same time, or worse yet to partially covert from Judaism, or to partially convert from Christianity to Judaism is very dangerous. As per Rabbi Gold Shalom for both jews or Christians. His comment are found on the net.

It is interesting when a new book is released containing Biblical quotes, inferences, and parallels that it becomes more popular than the Bible itself. If we would just read the Bible and study the words of God, we would know when something has an uncertain sound. Certainly we can be helped with Biblical commentary and exhortation, history and current events, but let the Word of God speak and never allow anything to be superimposed over God’s breathed Book, the Bible. Everybody is looking for a new book and what man has to say, when we better be listening to what God has already said.

It’s amazing that Terry James of Rapture Ready loves “The Harbinger,” and Joe Chambers hates it. I think Terry should fire Joe because he hates everyone and everything he doesn’t understand–a true picture of misguided Christian faith. By the way, “Lucifer” is not Satan’s name. It is a poor translation of “הילל בן־שׁחרHelel Ben-Shachar” from Origen in the 3rd century. “Dawn sun star” is a better translation. By using the term “Luciferian,” it shows Joe’s ignorance. I love Jonathan Cahn, so now you can hate me too!

911 was an inside job. Our current govt.as well as recent past govt. are puppets placed in office to do a “JOB” for the evil side. Media, movies, tv, entertainment, news, etc…. are all playing into the enemy’s hands to lead us into believing all kinds of garbage. That is why our country is going to hell in a hand basket. It was also done to help US agenda in the middle east – killing and stealing. Wars are started and fought, and have been for years – for profit and destruction. (Please note – I do not have any bad feelings toward our military men and women, they joing to protect our country and is not their fault they are tricked and shoved into wars they do not believe in.) We may have been founded on Christian principles, but have strayed for from it. I laugh at all these preppers and wanna be saviors for our country. We definitely should keep fighting for our Patriotic and Christian values while here, but we can not and will not save America. We are going down by the enemy’s design. Also, if we were here during the plans for the tribulation – there is no way we could save enough food, water, etc. to survive. I love Donna Watson’s MAtrix 3 part writing on rapture forums. She nails it on the head for what is going on in America, and the plans for take over soon. Good news – Christains will not be here. I think they will use the rapture to stage their final marital law take over. Everyone or most everyone left will be so brainwashed by Alien fantasy movies and the fear of all the chaos that they will follow blindly right along aka “sheeple”. Come soon Lord Jesus, but another day here is another chance to win souls and help others.

Sorry, my post was interrupted. As I was saying, “Lucifer” comes from the Latin meaning “light-bearer” which is what Satan was before he fell. Halal is Hebrew for “morning star.” The name Lucifer is commonly understood to be synonymous with Satan. Luciferans are those that worship Satan. Arguments like Joel’s are intended to be a distraction. We know that the true “Light bearer” is Christ, but we don’t call Him Lucifer. Lucifer is a false light–a deceiving light–an arificial light. “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19).

HARBINGER (WARNING) ! One things for sure (i know, I’m only a week late) at least Pastor Joseph is trying to warn the Church in which the hour we live in! As far as this Kahn guy goes, i’m not sure, now Sid R. I’ve honestly wondered if he is gullible while trying to make a buck for his ministry But I do know that many Jewish folks do pay attention to Roth and I strongly believe that the Lord IS using Sid’s ministry to help bring ‘them’ to Salvation before the Grace period expires! We live in an age where deception(s) seem to be the norm and the Lord is the Master Player (Check Mate) where Daniels 70th week is quickly approaching and seeds of thought are being sown which in turn will bring at least a third of the Jews back into the Lords fold at a great cost to them (Jews) which many gentiles will benfit.
What really bothers me are todays preachers being silent of the times we’re in, I’m not talking about the wolves (McFarens etc) but these bible answer men (and women), Scripture is very clear, theres no such thing as replacement theology in the Bible, The 7oo clob hardly ever mentions the hour and Tee-Bee-En is blasphemous, we need to be told that we are Sinners and in need of a Saviour, not some mamby pamby football stadium packed crystalian church were the preachers won’t mention dirty rotten sinners like man is w/out Jesus Christ our Blessed Savior, just puky luke warmness, it’s enough to make most of us vomit, let alone Jesus! It’s very clear that this is the end of the age of grace, America (let alone the World) will not repent or get down on there knees and humble themselves to pray for healing of the lands or just anything – anyone who dare to speak of this Babylon world are belittled and called haters, yeah, Satan has woven his web, the Lord warned us of the hour but Satan & his (all) minions will be thrown into Hades for a millenia, then Hell and we will be in His Loving perfect peace and He will be tangible all the time where everything will be in perfect harmony will it’s (our) Creator, I can hardly wait!

“The Harbinger” is a work of fiction. There was no prophet that appeared to Jonathan Cahn nor is there any sort of replacement theology at play in this work. The Bible is full of examples of “history repeating itself” and it is not a stretch at all to see current events conforming to a pattern from early history.
I am saddened that this book is being bashed in such a vicious manner. One could use the same logic to bash “The Pilgrim’s Progress” because there isn’t a real person named “Evangelist”. It could apply to “The Screwtape Letters” because we all know demons don’t really write to their nephews.
Fiction is a literary device. If Satan really inspired “The Harbinger”, I don’t see his victory. Is he laughing people to derision because he forced them to look up scriptures; because he made people think seriously about repentance and the horrid moral condition of America?
“The Harbinger” is being read by the secular world in staggering numbers. It is fiction just like so many great works of fiction. It has and will steer some to read the Bible, to ask questions, and to seek the Lord. I see nothing Luciferian at play.
