SWIFT AS THE LIGHTNING, MAGNIFICENT, HOLY AND INNUMERABLE : ANGELS

WE MUST COME TO UNDERSTAND THE INCREDIBLE NATURE OF HOLY ANGELS. You have probably never considered the almost indescribable nature of God’s mighty army of Angels. If the wicked multitude that flaunt God and His righteousness could get a glimpse of these perfectly Holy beings, they would tremble almost to insanity. Imagine the transgender, homosexual, lesbian and the confused multitudes facing an army of God’s Angels. Suddenly they will see their dark deeds under the eyes of absolute holiness. Every sin will be magnified a million times when God’s Holy Light shines like the noon day sun.

His mighty Angels and Cherubims will be seen shortly in number beyond counting. Isaiah stated by the Holy Spirit, “For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.” (Isaiah 66:15) The Psalmist David said. “The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.” (Psalms 68:17) Our world has become oblivious toward God and any thought of judgment, but not for long. An end time prophecy in Zechariah is overwhelming, “And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass. In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses; And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses. Then I answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord? And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.” (Zechariah 6: 1-5) These chariots of our Lord are innumerable. Four is a number for the activities of the Father in the earth.

Angels reflect God’s Holiness with a power of instant conviction. The moment a sinner is confronted with an angel they become powerless to remain on their feet and even more powerless to speak. In Revelation we get a picture of God’s Throne completely encircled with Angels. John said, “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands…” (Revelation 5:11) Then we see the result of that vision as the sinners saw the great sight. “And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Revelation 6:16) This world has no idea of what it is facing. Sin is arrogant now but it won’t be much longer.

Even the righteous are soon to tremble before the marching forth of spotless Cherubims and Seraphims. Isaiah got a vision of the Father with a “train that filled the Temple.” Do we grasp what this entourage of Heaven’s greatest Angels must have appeared to Isaiah? This train with His closest and most magnificent Heavenly Being was awesome. Isaiah was certainly a Godly prophet but the sight was overwhelming. “In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.” (Isaiah 6:1-4) This scene is just a small picture of what this church world is facing.

Isaiah cried out, “Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.” (Isaiah 6:5) The Bible is emphatic. The world is certainly a cesspool but judgment does not begin with the unconverted multitudes. Their condemnation does not linger. It will be indescribable but it starts with righteousness. The House of God will soon be the place of great mourning. “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (I Peter 4:17) If the average church today was visited by unshielded Angels, the result would be pandemonium.

The knowledge of Angels under command from God is total discernment. They know the mind of God concerning each of us when they are sent to minister or judge. The two Angels sent to Sodom and Gomorrah did not need to ask questions about the citizens of those corrupt cities. When the Sodomites tried to force their way into Lot’s home, the Angels took control. “But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door. And they smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door. And the men said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place: For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it.” (Genesis 19:10-13) Our world is at the door of a similar display of God’s awesome visitation. Our God will not allow the situation to reach the point that He must apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah.

God’s powerful Angels are swift and breathtaking in action. When Ananias and Sapphira played their game of religion in the New Testament church, it was death so quick that the saints shook with fear. The Holy Ghost used Peter to speak but the Angels of death did the judging. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.” (Acts 5: 3-5) His wife following shortly was slain just as her husband. Never has the church been so filled with the false pretense of religion without conviction. The Bible is treated like a want list instead of a pathway.

When Herod acted to vex the church and put the Lord’s business down he was not aware of the results to follow. “Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also.” (Acts 12:1-3) The story of the Angels that visited Peter in the night and miraculously delivered him is often preached but not much about what happened swiftly to Herod. He had the jailers put to death but he was the culprit. A few days later he forgot about the Angel but the Angel does not forget about him. “And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost. But the word of God grew and multiplied.” (Acts 12:21-24) The Angel that delivered Peter was probably the same Angel that smote Herod. Imagine that, the Angel commanded worms to eat Herod’s body.

It will not be long, cannot by Scripture be long, until our sick world sees the coming display of angelic activities. Angels will play an incredible part in the judgments about to occur. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.” (II Peter 3:10-14) Keep your eyes open for the signs of the developing end.

    Joseph weitesHis mighty Angels and Cherubims …

    I made the point earlier – the -im suffix in Hebrew denotes the plural of nouns. The singular of the word above is “cherub” with a hard “c” and the plural is “cherubim”.

    To write cherubims is silly redundancy, the same as writing doorses, or bakerses or babieses.

    C’mon, Joseph, get with it.

    ANGELS & JUDGMENT COMING.

    Dear Joe Chambers,

    The Angels will be very active during the OFFICIAL TRIBULATION PERIOD. The ORGANIZED CHURCH WILL FALL AWAY IN THE COMING GREAT SPIRITUAL CRASH. Most members are of CHURCHES are NOT SAVED. My Uncle Dick, a Methodist Minister back in the 1990s said that he thought 75% OF HIS CONGREGATION WERE NOT SAVED, when he was asked what percentage of his congregation was saved. He did tell what it took to be saved, but most would not listen.

    There is a general rule about what CONGREGATIONS ARE MORE SAVED (larger numbers of their people saved) and which ones are LESS SAVED (fewer members of that congregation saved). The more CONSERVATIVE the congregation is, the more likely they are to be saved because the believe Jesus is God. The believe he died for his sins. They believe he rose form the dead. The believe he is coming back. They believe the LAND OF ISRAEL belongs to the JEWS, and especially JERUSALEM AND ITS HISTORICAL DISTRICT INCLUDING TEMPLE MOUNT.

    The LIBERAL DENOMINATIONS deny that Jesus is God. They deny the resurrection. They deny that he is coming back. The LIBERALS DENY THAT THE LAND OF ISRAEL BELONGS TO THE JEWS. THE LIBERALS FAVOR THE PALESTINIANS OVER THE JEWS. THE PALESTINIANS ARE A RACE OF TERRORISTS.

    So those in conservative churches are more likely to be saved, than those in liberal churches. When the RAPTURE COMES, the CONSERVATIVE CHURCHES ARE MORE LIKELY TO LOSE MORE OF THEIR MEMBERS. IN LIBERAL CHURCHES VERY FEW PEOPLE WILL LEAVE AT RAPTURE.

    I don’t think the Angels will be doing much open activity before the RAPTURE, for the Lord says that no one will know the day or the hour of his return to get his people. Then THE ANGELS WILL CARRY US OUT AT THE RAPTURE. The JUDGEMENT (BEAMA SEAT) must first begin at HOUSE OF GOD.

    Then the Angels both HOLY and SATAN’S REVOLUTIONARY ANGELS will be very active during the Tribulation.

    According to the news the Supreme Court will consider the question of whether homosexuals have a constitutional right to be married.

    ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

    The Constitution doesn’t even deal with the issue of marriage at all. But we can see that the advocates of this perversion have somehow managed to present a case that should not even be considered by the court in the first place. Same thing happened in 1963 with school prayer and 1973 with abortion.

    Fact is, had the “church” been doing its job, none of these things would have stood.

    Seems altogether appropriate that the church will be first on God’s docket because it has so badly betrayed its Great Commission mandate and in so doing has caused so many to be lost.
