SUPERNATURAL GIFTS OF THE HOLY GHOST
NO MAN CAN SAY THAT JESUS IS THE LORD BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST. (I Corinthians 12:3b) You cannot know Jesus and be His servant, and son or daughter, except by the Divine Powers resident in the person of the Holy Ghost. He is the only Divine Teacher in this world. Every human teacher or preacher is totally dependent on Him or else your doctrines will be empty, at best, and probably filled with error, at worse. Apostle Paul said it plainly. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” (I Corinthians 2:14) Truth comes only by the Spirit of God.
Nothing in this world can bless you like the anointed Word of God. When truth is dispensed by the power of the Holy Ghost gifts, it is sweet to the spiritual taste and marrow to the bones. This is why the Bible states, “…it pleased God by the foolishness of Preaching to save them who believe.” (I Corinthians 1:21b) The word, “foolishness” is used only because the Holy Spirit is drawing attention to the way the world looks at preaching in the Biblical model. We know that there is very little preaching after this style or model today. Preachers call themselves teachers because it is their excuse for not being anointed. All kinds of fleshly music and styles are being used since spiritual death has to be covered by deliberate high sounding nonsense.
When the church is built on a Biblical pattern, there are absolute supernatural powers available. Listen as the Teacher we know as the Holy Ghost speaks by the Scripture. The Spirit said, “To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” (I Corinthians 12:9-11) This is incredible and perfect instruction.
A church without the supernatural is a club, not a House of God. The American church has slipped into a post-Biblical model trying to accommodate the world, and in the process has driven the Holy Ghost out. He will not remain where He is quenched, grieved, resisted and blasphemed. The works or manifestation of the Holy Ghost is the heart of the Bible. Jesus is Lord but the Holy Ghost is His manifest presence. Please note how Apostle Paul begins His teaching about the supernatural gifts. “ Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” (I Corinthians 12:4-7) This is a picture of the Trinity acting in unison to transform His Church into a Powerhouse for the Kingdom.
I love that last verse I just printed, “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” (I Corinthians 12:7) This powerful truth is for everybody in the Body of Christ. Anyone that tries to say these supernatural powers have ended is playing with their soul. It’s close to blasphemy to suggest God no longer gives supernatural powers to His Church. This is exactly why the Jewish world rejected Jesus Christ when He came the first time. You will notice that the present church world has almost totally rejected the Book of Revelation because you cannot believe that Book and deny the powers of God revealed in a literal visitation of the Holy Ghost.
Let’s just deal with the first gift named in this Twelfth Chapter of I Corinthians. “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom…” (I Corinthians 12:8a) When you stop to listen and learn what goes for wisdom today, it is easy to see how desperate we are for His Wisdom. The early church “Turned the world upside down,” (Acts 17:6), because of this wisdom that guided their every move. Look at Apostle Peter when the Lord turned the early church into a Jewish/Gentile movement and eliminated the war between these two factors.
You must note how the Holy Ghost spoke wisdom to Peter and sent this hard-nosed Jew into the home of a Roman Centurion. “On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven. Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made inquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate…” (Acts 10:9-17) What a breathtaking picture of the Holy Ghost speaking Words of wisdom to this Godly Apostle. This is repeated in the Bible a multitude of times. We need this wisdom to rightly understand their wisdom from the Holy Ghost.
As we continue to understand these supernatural gifts it’s so important that we also know what kind of saints our Father uses. This is not a world for Christians that are not disciplined to Godliness. Nothing is worse than a carnal Christian claiming and trying to operate Holy Ghost gifts. Apostle Paul said right in the midst of I Corinthians, “…when I became a man, I put away childish things.” (I Corinthians 13:11b) This is not the world of careless living. Our Father said, “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.” (I Corinthians 3:16-17) Let’s grow up in maturity and walk in the light of a Divine surrender.

Yes the Holy Spirit is active today in TRUE CHURCHES OF JESUS. But dont expect to find him active in churches where the FALSE PORK-BARREL PROSPERITY ENTITLEMENT GOSPEL is preached. Those Churches are dominated by the DEMONS OF SATAN INSTEAD. If people think the Spirit of God is not active today, THEY ARE IN THE WRONG CHURCHES. He is not active in those churches because THEY RAN HIM OUT AND EXPELLED HIM FORM THOSE CHURCHES. So in their churches is is not active, THE LIGHTS WENT OUT. But in the TRUE EVANGELICAL CHURCHES THE HOLY SPIRIT IS VERY MUCH ALIVE AND WELL. Where to find him. Go to CONSERVATIVE EVANGELICAL CHURCHES THAT REALLY DO FOLLOW THE WORD OF GOD. There you will find the Holy Sirit. Want him in your life? Confess your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life and to save you, then the Holy Spirit shall enter into you and you will be saved. Dont expect him to be found in the HUGE MEGA-CHURCHES WHERE THE PORK-BARREL GOSPEL IS PREACHED. He is not in those. You also will not find him in the CATHOLIC CHURCHES, ANGLICAN CHURCHES, GREEK ORTHODOX CHURCHES, OR ANY OTHER CATHOLIC DENOMINATIONS. He also will not be in the GAY-ONLY METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY CHURCHES. Unitarians do not have him. None of the LIBERAL-LEFT CHURCHES HAVE HIM. The MORMONS DONT HAVE HIM. The GREAT MAJORITY OF THE CHURCHES TODAY DO NOT HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. So if the say the Holy Spirit is not active today, for them and their churches it is true because they RAN HIM OFF. But he is still alive and well in the CONSERVATIVE EVANGELICAL CHURCHES. FEWER AND FEW CHURCHES TODAY HAVE THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Anyone here ever notice that Simon bar jona, later surnamed Peter, is mentioned in the New Testament more than anyone else except Jesus? Peter is mentioned, if I recall correctly, 153 times by name: Simon son of John, Simon bar Jona, Simeon (as James calls him in Acts 15), and the way St usually refers to him – Cephas, the Greek transliteration of the Armaaic, “Kepha” – meaning “boulder”
The next most mentioned person is, I believe, John the Apostle, referred to by name only 18 times.
“NO MAN CAN SAY THAT JESUS IS THE LORD BUT BY THE HOLY GHOST,” (I Corinthians 12:3b) as Joseph tells us. So if I, a Catholic, can say that Jesus Christ is LORD, the incarnate Son of the Father, from Whom proceeds the Holy Ghost, I must be inspired by this same Spirit of God, Whos blows whither He will.
Thus, I cannot be a pagan, am not an idolator, am not qa child of Satan.
Unhappily, I can’t say this of all Catholics and not all Catholic prelates: Roger Cardinal Mahony, for instance.
Most of us, however, muddle through life, but always with eyes fixed on the Crucified, Risen and Ascended Lord, Second Divine Person of the One God seatted now at the right hand of the Father, Who will come again in glory to judge the living and the daed.
So I suggest you save your anti-Christian talk for those who have no use for Jesus because of their conditioning by secular humaninst progressives who are aching to wipe out the Christian species from this earth.

Excellent discourse, Pastor Joseph. Without the active help of the Holy Spirit the Bible becomes just “another volume” and the things it says are merely the “points of view” of the various authors which wrote its 66 books.
That a man who claimed to be God and was declared to be a blashphemer by the learned religious experts of his day and was crucified as a common criminal could be God Incarnate and savior of those who believe in him – well, that sounds ridiculous based on the world’s standards, doesn’t it? Especially the part where he came back to life!
I mean, shouldn’t the Messiah have come as the kind of conquering, glorious king the Israelites were expecting?
The truth of the matter is that one day he will, but it was first necessary to come as a suffering servant and to fulfill only the first verse and a half of Isaiah 61 and verses 1-10 of Isaiah 53. But this can never make sense to anyone who does not have the Holy Spirit as his or her guide.
Trying to understand God and the Bible without the Holy Spirit is like trying to run all your household electrical appliances without the electricity. They will just sit there, inert and useless.
Sounds a lot like much of the modern church now trying to run without the Holy Spirit – just as inert and just as useless.

Pastor Chambers doesn’t author any “anti-Christian talk”.
However there are many pretending to be Christians today be they Catholic or Protestant, or even
“Evangelical” who among other foul deeds, ferociously advocate the abomination of homosexuality
(as a blatant mockery of Genesis i : 27) and Pastor Chambers is against them.
For you personally, It Doesn’t Matter To GOD which church you do belong to.
The Only Important Thing Is That you believe exclusively In JESUS-CHRIST As your LORD And Savior.
No additives to your Already Correct Spiritual Diet, please.
GOD Has Made It Simplest for us to be saved By Offering His SON(John iii : 16) And His Name for us to call Upon And be saved (Romans x : 9-13).
Right now, the straying Christians(I am thinking of various emerging churches) are being reminded By GOD In No Uncertain Terms to repent and come Back To Him.
After all, even the fallen angels GOD Doesn’t Give Up And Appeals to them In Psalm lxxxii.
Even satan got pleaded with in Job ii : 3, There Is Only GODLY Sorrow In GOD’ S Address to satan
and No Condemnation of his cruel dealing with Job.
GOD Is Looking for the faintest light of goodness in satan, a being HE Created very good.
Brother Sean, you are not required to believe in The Rapture to be not only saved, but raptured
into our LORD’ S Presence As Well, Come The Day.
Imagine the Titanic sinking on that fateful April 1912 night, and along came Patriarch Noah on his Ark urging the doomed liner’s passengers to get on board and be saved.
Perhaps some distinguished nobleman will stylishly exclaim “Aw, how shocking ! Putting us with smelly animals ! Never !”
Others, like a modernist pastor along with a believer in atheism will shout “No,no,no ! We never
believe that you exist and we won’t begin now ! You are an illusion, a trick ! Go away !”
Absurd ? Perhaps, but the saying that there are no atheist in the foxholes, still suffers
exceptions that confirm its accurateness : there are people who put their pride above their lives
and perish by their own choice.
Like satan who has always refused to repent because for him, THE HOLY SPIRIT’ S Fire Of Repentance Necessary To Burn Away his pride Is Hotter Than The Lake Of Fire, Where he thinks he can keep his
pride “unscalded” for Eternity.
But for you brother Sean who believe in JESUS As your LORD And SAVIOR, The Rapture Will Be JESUS’ Offer you can’t refuse When HE Comes for you, because you already believe In HIM, And The Rapture
Is An Integral Part Of Salvation.
Unless you go Home Before It Occurs.
Anyway, prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

Salvation, Like The Kingdom Of GOD, Has Already Come, Is Coming, And Will Come.
It Came With JESUS, Stays In our hearts And Will Be Coming Visibly With JESUS Returning.
As to The Logic Of The Rapture, There Is at Least One Point our brothers In Christ, who refuse
to believe in The Rapture, would agree with us.
That is, on the day the anti-Christ will appear, THE HOLY SPIRIT Will Stop HIS Restraining Ministry And Be Removed From the earth.
_Now, If THE HOLY SPIRIT Is The Sole Authority Empowering The Church, what will The Church do Without THE HOLY SPIRIT After His Departure ?
_Would THE HOLY SPIRIT Tell The Church Upon His Departure : “You are on your own now !” ?
_And Since The Church is The Bride Of CHRIST, Would THE HOLY SPIRIT Tell JESUS :”You Bride has stayed behind on earth.” ?
_The Fact Is That Without THE HOLY SPIRIT There Is No Church.
_The “Church” Without THE HOLY SPIRIT that stayed behind on earth will be the bride of anti-Christ.
So The Only Logic Is That JESUS Will Come For His Bride The Day THE HOLY SPIRIT Ceases His Ministry
And Departs, Bringing With HIM The Church HE Indwells Since Pentecost.

It’s just when you said that atheism is the height of ignorance’ I had to correct you and let you know that it is often the complete opposite… Atheism requires thought and individual analysis.. Religion often involves being spoon fed by a book that was written during a time when people believed in Dragons etc LOL.
You will often find religion is the height of ignorance’ and that sometimes that ignorance is self inflicted despite knowing the truth deep down, but like I said having a security blanket means alot to some people.

One of the issues which most of us thought had been settled at the Reformation was the idea that we should use language of the people, unlike Rome which insisted on using Latin for its ceremonies. Yet I, as an Oxford graduate, find myself unable to understand phrases such as:
“But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”
Excuse me, but that’s NOT THE LANGUAGE of the people. So why, like the Roman Catholics, are you persisting in using it? If you really want to stick to Textus Receptus, then use the NKJV. But stop dancing on the graves of the Reformers who were martyred to bring us the scriptures in the language of the people.
