SUBMIT YOURSELVES THEREFORE TO GOD (He Who Is On Fire For Christ Is Too Hot For The Devil To Handle)

THE DEVIL IS TOTALLY DEFEATED IN A LIFE THAT IS THE PROPERTY OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How desperate we are for men and women that have abandoned all else to honor and serve our LORD JESUS CHRIST. We all see the great majority of professing Christians as so entangled in the world system and so controlled by it’s ideas that JESUS CHRIST is only a name.
Our Lord can only show Himself the Victor when He is your “All In All”. This great Truth is right here in the Word of God. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” (James 4: 7-10)
This kind of life cannot be defeated by Satan. Many years ago I read or heard a beautiful saying that I have repeated often, “HE WHO IS ON FIRE FOR CHRIST IS TOO HOT FOR THE DEVIL TO HANDLE” Defeated Christians are a terrible witness to all that know them. You hear people put the blame for their failures and defeats on others and never willing to admit their own carelessness. No person regardless of their power of devilishness can stop or defeat a trusting and obeying believer.
How wonderful to know that Satan has no rule over anyone that does not submit to the world and their flesh. He is a totally defeated foe. Listen to the words of Jesus Christ. “And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luke 10:18) It’s beautiful to read the statesman Prophet Isaiah decribe the utter banishment of the devil. “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:12-15)
Our victory in our walk must always be seen as Jesus Christ’s victory on the Cross. Our Lord said as He died, “It is Finished.” Our enemy is a defeated reality, and we live by faith in the completed work of the Triumphant Son Of God. Our submitting must be a total surrender to trust Him only. He is our everything and we live the life of an “Overcomer” in every choice. As the Holy Ghost said by the Apostle Paul, “But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.” (Galatians 6:14)

In the waning days of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler retired to his underground bunker still refusing to admit his obvious defeat. In his last hours even he knew it was over for Germany, but instead of blaming himself, he blamed his countrymen for being disloyal. In his rage he ordered his commanders to destroy anything that was left. Most of them refused.
Similarly, Satan even now has no doubt deluded himself in the same way. He has retreated into his own bunker, but is still a dangerous enemy, and the Bible shows us he will become even more so as this age comes to an end.
I mention all this to remind us all that a desperate enemy is the most dangerous of all. The devil was defeated 2000 years ago the day Jesus rose from the dead, but as he increasingly backed into a corner, his attacks on this world, and in particular, those who have chosen God will only increase.
Thankfully the Spirit that is within us is greater than that which is in the world. But we must keep up our guard.

Submission to God opens the door to resist the devil and him to flee. The problem in most of the Church in America is, however, that most have no clue who they are fighting, or even that they are IN a fight. With church growth and popular Christianity dominating most denominations, Brother Chambers’ message is not welcome. Neither is the message of numerous Watchman God has raised up for the last days. Stand firm and drive on as unto the Lord, fellow Watchmen. Your service to Him is not in vain: I Corinthians 15:58. Good day.

Dear Pastor,
Those who call upon the name of Lord Jesus shall be saved. A name that is above all names; The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Satan does not hold a candle to this GOD.
We should give witness that this is so.
