THE GOLDEN KINGDOM OF 1,000 YEARS
Heaven on Earth, Jesus Christ the King of Kings and every Raptured saint shall flourish in the courts of our King. The Bible specifically states, “Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.” (Psalm 92: 13) I would never think of forsaking the House of God. If every pastor backslid from the truth of God’s Word, I would still go to God’s House and worship my King, even if I had to wear earplugs. Every “Born Again” saint that obeys Him with all their heart has a star-studded future in the worldwide kingdom of righteousness. Nothing is going to cheat me out of His plans for His chosen. By grace! I am kept by His grace!
There are so many incredible things planned for His Golden Kingdom.
1. It will be ruled totally by His exalted, glorified person.
2. The weather patterns will be healed.
3. It will be a world of perfect health. “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.” (Isaiah 65:25B)
4. Every violent person or animal will be changed and freed from the hostility.
5. There will be no immoral dressing and no cross-dressing. Men will be men and women will be women.
6. Depression and oppression will cease.
7. The entire culture will be pure, well ordered, and God-like.
8. Hatred, jealousy, and anger will vanish.
9. There will be no unclean habits.
10. You will never need to lock your doors or protect yourselves/family from harm.
11. Our diet will no longer be desirous for the slaughter of animals, but for fruits and vegetables.
12. The natural world will provide a pleasurable existence.
13. There will be no broken families, no father against mother, or children and grandchildren forsaking one another.
14. Love will rule in this kingdom.
15. There will be no enemies nor anyone dreaming to destroy you.
16. You will not hear cursing and swearing or any language of the gutter.
17. No spouses will leave their husband or wife.
18. Homosexuality and lesbianism will cease to exist.
19. “For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)
20. The Holy Bible, perfect and infallible, will be central to the Holy “One-World Order” of Jesus Christ and the “Golden Kingdom”.
21. A greatly enlarged city of Jerusalem will be the world’s capitol.
The emerging church, new-wave charismatic people, and most of the “church” world is quickly becoming angry and determined to destroy this great biblical truth. The spirit of the Anti-Christ is out to set up the kingdom of Satan and usher in his new “Christ”. The epic battle of the ages is on and it is a fight to the finish. Jesus Christ and His blood-washed Saints will win!

6. “Depression and oppression will cease”
Not Really. The nations that don’t go up to observe Sukkot will be deprived of rain.
Without rain, how do you grow produce? If that’s all there is to eat ,, you may feel
a bit oppressed or depressed, huh?

I do not claim to be an expert on how the Millennum and that which follows plays out, but if I’m understanding the Bible properly, what follows is how I see it. (I would greatly appreciate corrections here from Pastor Joseph and other posters if I have made errors in my analysis.)
Though the world of the Millennium under Jesus’ Rule will be very much as it was during the time before the Fall of man (see Isaiah 11), it will still not be perfect. Here are a few examples:
1) The lifespan of the righteous will be greatly increased, but there will still be death, especially among the unrighteous (Isaiah 65:20-22).
2) Death, the “last enemy” (1 Corinthians 15:24-28) will totally end only after the Millennium and the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:14).
3) There will still be a rebellious heart in some people during the Millennium. Note, for example that some will refuse to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles and as a result be punished (Zechariah 14:16-19) during the 1000 years Jesus rules. (This feast appears to have become a universal celebration of thanksgiving, no doubt for the return of Jesus to rule and his restoration of what had become a terribly battered Earth.)
A second example is that Satan obviously finds plenty of people who can be co-opted after his 1000 year imprisonment to help him try to steal God’s throne one last time (Revelation 20:7-9).
To be sure, the world will be greatly restored and people will live an idyllic existence during Jesus’ Thousand Year Reign, just as Pastor Joseph illustrated in his commentary above. But what follows is even better – a complete replacement of Earth and the universe by ones where sin never had a chance to enter or corrupt.
I have often wondered why there is the “intermediate” step of the Millennial Kingdom between the world we now have and the totally new earth and new heaven which will follow. Perhaps God wants show us with finality that even with a near-perfect environment, human beings will still mess things up and that we are ultimately dependent on him after all. In this case we as a race certainly won’t be able to blame our failures to measure up on coming from a “broken home” any more, will we? (Actually Adam and Eve couldn’t claim that excuse either since Eden was perfect, when you come right down to it.)
Maybe this is God’s grand way of demonstrating that it really isn’t “all about us” after all!
So as wonderful as the world of the Millennium will be, it still will pale in comparison to the perfect realm that will follow it when God the Father himself comes with his huge city of New Jerusalem to live with humanity forever (Revelation 21).

Judy, I am sure the multitudes in Hell feel oppressed and depressed too. Under Messiah’s rule, the nations are to be ruled with a rod of Iron, but, to call such rule oppression, you’d have to maintain that all God’s judgments, from the curse on Adam on are oppression. Oppression by an evil government or class of people against another won’t be allowed by Messiah, Joeseph’s point. It is a word reserved for the enemies of Israel such as Egypt after the days of Joseph the prophet. As to a judged nation feeling depressed, that might follow, for hopefully that would lead them to repentance. But depression as some kind of common phenomenon will not be during those days. The fact that there will be nations in the Millennium being judged for their disobedience to the then reigning King Jesus, is right and just, for the foundation of His throne are righteousness and judgment.

I, too, have wondered about that! Sometimes I’m just full of questions ~ and then finally have to realize I must rely upon the Lord — that it’s all in His perfect plan.
At the end of the Millennium, the devil (satan) is released to go out & once again DECEIVE the nations — as numberless as the sand as the seashore (sounds like a *LOT* to me!!) So indeed ~ even after having lived in near-perfect conditions DURING the Millenium, people ~ tons of people will yet yield to satan’s deception.
If I understand it correctly, since (by then) the previously raptured saints who will have returned with Lord Jesus at the end of the Tribulation and will THEN be in our glorified minds & bodies, (which we get as we are gathered up) and having lived with Him in heaven for 7 years, so I do not think we will be able to be deceived by the enemy any more.
Till then though~? Spiritual shields UP Saints!! Because our adversary, the very enemy of our souls ~ roams about as a HUNGRY lion, seeking whom he may devour!! He doesn’t plan to let up, esp. this close to the rapture. We will resist him, remain steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by our brotherhood throughout the whole world.
And BTW Saints! In preparation for the soon-coming Tribulation, Bible believers are considered TERRORISTS under this current administration!! No, I’m NOT kidding!! That’s to truly show how few in number real Christians are getting to be; so that by the time those who convert to Jesus after the rapture (many!) will surely be hunted down & killed…. for being terrorists.

The raptured saints will not be tempted by Satan when he is loosed from the bottomless pit after the 1,000 year reign of Christ. When we are raptured then we are forever from henceforth with the Lord and have glorified bodies to where we are not capable of sinning or being tempted. Basically, the moment we are raptured the devil can no longer affect or touch us forevermore.
What I have always found fascinating about the 1,000 year reign is that the mortal humans such as all of us are at this moment will live in an era totally different from ours. They will have the Son of God literally living among them. It would probably be mind boggling to them to understand a world that you and I live in today to where God himself does not physically rule over the Earth in physical form although we do know that He owns the earth and all creation and is omnipotent. The way that I have been taught and from study of God’s Holy Word is that the glorified saints will rule and reign with Christ. It is possible that some of us may be governors, mayors, etc. No matter what we will help administer the Kingdom of our Lord to the humans on the Earth and carry out the will of Jesus Christ. Our Lord will be the epitome of a just ruler. No greater honor can I think of then being able to serve the Lord during the 1,000 year reign as a glorified saint that helps administer His kingdom. What an exciting thought!!!

You are right on several counts here. Since the Rapture precedes the Tribulation and rise of the Antichrist (2 Thess. 2:6-12), all believers today will enter the Millennium in their glorified bodies totally beyond sin and death (1 Cor. 15: 35-44). We will be sharing in Jesus’ government for that 1000 years, (along with the Trib saints – Rev. 20: 4) and, very likely, have a part in the concluding White Throne Judgment where Satan and all his folowers, both mortal and angelic will finally be condemned (1 Corinthians 6:23; Rev. 20:10-15).
Also true is that you, I, and all who take the Bible seriously are in fact considered “terrorist material.” Some time ago (it may have actually been several years at this point) Janet Napolitano had us on her “troublemaker list” along with veterans and others. Seems like we are more dangerous than the Muslims who knocked down our Trade Towers and are still do everything they can to kill Jews and Christians.
Isaiah certainly must have been given a view of these times when he spoke of this magnitude of moral inversion! The up side is that he also saw the days of those who created these evil times were numbered (Isaiah 5:20-25).
I’ve been around for over 59 years and I have never seen such a broad scale proliferation of evil in the religious and secular realms nor as godless a government as the U.S. has now. The acary thing to me is that the majority of the voters in this country actually CHOSE these people to rule us!
So, I’m with you, R.J. – Come soon Lord Jesus!

I enjoyed listening to your teaching on this subject. I am excited to know that Jesus is coming soon and that we will be raptured and come back with Him for the Battle of Armageddon. Can’t wait.

The list of sins above that would be terminated, I think is not so very true. I suspect there is going to be some in the world because Jesus will be ruling with an iron rod. Man, in the millennial Kingdom, will still have free will. For the Bible says that man will make one last attempt with satan to overthrow G-d in the end. I believe the Kingdom is all about G-d making a serious point. To prove that even when G-d lives among them and they have no excuse for their sin, satan is bound and helpless, man still has enough rebellion in his heart that when the devil is released, many will run to him.

A NEW ERA COMMING – KINGDOM OF PEACE

The Kingdom of the Lord will truely be a NEW ERA. Only go can make the KINGDOM OF PEACE. Back in the ROARING TWENTIES the STOCK BROKERS said “THIS IS A NEW ERA! STOCKS WILL KEEP RISING FOREVER!” but the BUBBLE finally POPPED, resulting in the GREAT DEPRESSION of the 1930s. The FEDERAL RESERVE BANK contributed to this by INFLATING the money supply, and then finally SHUTTING IT OFF. This forced people in to default. People could not pay off their leveraged stock investments and faced MARIGN CALLS. Millions filed for bankruptsy. Houses went in to FORECLOSURES. BANKS SHUT DOWN. Unemployment went high. Now we are Facing that all over again in our DEPRESSION TODAY. Banks to day are even more leveraged today than in the 1930s. The banks have DERIVATIVES with a leverage of 100 to 1. If it goes against you, you owe 100 times as much as what you orginally put in. Bank of America has $40-Trillion in DERIVATIVES. JP Morgan – Chase as $90 trillion in DERIVATIVES. That is many times too big for the FEDERAL RESERVE to bail out, if it goes bad. As long as Satan is still in this world there cannot be a “NEW ERA” no matter what the stock brokers say. There also cannot be peace.
WHEN THE LORD JESUS FINALLY SETS UP HIS KINGDOM, IT WILL BE TRULY A NEW ERA. There will be no ECONOMIC RECESSIONS OR DEPRESSIONS since greedy corporate practices and central banks will be outlawed. There will no slavery. There will be no racial quotas. FORECLOSURES WILL BE ELIMINATED. Alcoholic drinks will be illegal as they were in the PROHIBITION. “POLITICAL CORRECTNESS” will be banned. PRAYER WILL ONCE AGAIN BE LEGAL IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. BIBLE STUDY WILL BE LEGAL IN SCHOOLS. NO MORE NUDE DANCING CLUBS. There will be NO PERSECUTION OF CHRISTIANS (persecution would invite the immediate wrath of God. So no one would dare persecute, lest they get put to death.) There will be no corruption in the entertainment industry like today’s Hollywood. THERE WILL BE NO POLITICS OF ENVY. LIBERAL POLITICIANS THAT DARE TO DO IT DURING THE MILLENIAL KINGDOM WOULD FACE THE IMMEDIATE WRATH OF GOD. PUSHING ENVY IS A HATE CRIME. Those practices will be outlawed. LIBERAL POITICIANS DO NOT HAVE A PART IN THE COMMING MILLENIAL KINGDOM. THAT IS THE END OF LAWSUIT HAPPY TRIAL LAWYERS TO. THERE WILL BE NO MORE ROBBERIES AT THE COURTHOUSES BY TRIAL LAWYERS. The MILLINEAL KINGDOM WILL BE THE CONSERVATIVES BEST DREAM, because JESUS THE CONSERVATIVE KING will rule the earth. Liberals will not dominate.
At the end of the 1000 years SATAN AND HIS DEMONS WILL BE RELEASED FROM THE FIERY GULAG AT THE BOTTOM END OF THE VERY LONG TUNNEL. Satanill tempt the folks on earth. Since even during the Millenial Kingdom people BOTH JEWS AND GENTILES MUST MAKE A DECISION TO ACCEPT OR REJECT JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR, Satan will once again fool most of the worlds people into rejecting Jesus. SATAN THE ULTIMATE POLITICIAN OF ENVY LIKE THE LIBERALS WILL FAN THE FLAMES OF ENVY IN TH WORLDS POPULATIONS AGAIST THE PEOPLE IN JERUSALEM WHICH WILL BE TH RICHEST CITY ON EARTH. Satan will also PERSECUTE THE SAINTS in all the countries. THE SAINTS HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FLEE TO JERUSALEM AS THE ONLY PLACE OF REFUGE never to return to their home countries again. The saints both Jews and Gentiles flee to Jerusalem, never to return home to countries of birth. THAT LEAVE ONLY UNSAVED HEATHENS IN THE COUNTRIES. THAT MAKES THEM EVEN MORE JEALOUS AND ENVIOUS. So SATAN THEIR LEFT-WING POLITICAL LEADER leads them in a COMMUNIST REVOLUTION against God. THE TRY TO INVADE AND LOOT JERUSALEM. But as they try to invade JERUSALEM IS LIFTED AWAY FROM THE EARTH WITH ALL THE SAINTS INSIDE. Then God sends FIRE DOWN ON THE PAGANS. God probably blows up the earth in a nuclear style explosion. This is what Peter meant when he said ALL THE ELEMENTS WILL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT. Heaven and Earth Pass Away. THEN COMES THE WHITE THRONE JUDGEMENT FOR ALL THE UNSAVED, AND THEIR BE TOSSED INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.
AFTER ALL THIS A NEW EARTH AND THE NEW JERUSALEM COME IN TO EXISTENCE. THE NEW JERUSALEM THEN COMES IN FOR A LANDING UPON THE NEW EARTH. IT WILL BE THE WORLDS LARGEST CITY. NOW THAT IS THE REAL “SHINING CITY ON THE HILL” THAT RONALD REAGAN TALKED ABOUT.
