Can You Trust The NKJV Bible
You must answer that question for yourself. Here are a couple of things I just found in a special broadcast on the subject, "The Corruption in the NKJV." (Available on audio under the same name.)
This version has changed, added, and omitted thousands of variations from the Textus Receptus and the Masoretic Hebrew. We will mail complimentary to you a booklet on the "Omission In The NKJV." Please write for this gift.
In the center of this Bible (page 647B) a supplement article is beautifully presented with fifteen additional one-page supplements. They are dark royal blue and unavoidable to the reader. The first article really caught my attention. The question was, "Why do I revisit the same sin over and over again? How can I stop?" In answering this question, the name "Jesus" or "Calvary" is never used. The words "blood," "born-again," transformed," etc. are never mentioned. It is totally integrated psychology. Completely absent is any idea of the power of God in Jesus Christ to cleanse from sin. It is works-oriented and fits great in the Catholic theological system.
On the fourteenth page of this supplement, they talk about your church of choice and list churches that they label as Christian. Here is the exact paragraph:
"In addition to the hypocrisy in churches, you may have other reasons for not going to church. One is that you’ve never been before and don’t know which one to go to. Not all churches are the same, Lutheran, Baptist, Methodist, Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Assembly, Greek Orthodox, and all the other Christian churches do vary somewhat in their beliefs and practices. Ask God to lead you to a church where you can worship Him and grow in the Christian faith. Then talk to trusted friends for suggestions."
This Bible is promoted as an alternative to the King James Version for Bible-believing Christians. Can you imagine the Catholic Church printing the name of our Protestant churches in their Bible for the Catholic people? This Bible actually puts the Church of Rome on the same level as the Baptist, Assembly of God, etc.
You should review this Bible thoroughly before you decide to change from the Authorized King James Version.
