Is Allah Of The Islam Faith The Same God As The God Of The Christian Faith
No!, Absolutely Not! The word for God in Arabic is Allah. That is not a bad word. It is perfectly normal for an Arab Christian to speak of God as Allah. But that person must understand that there God Allah is totally different than the Islam God that is also called Allah. It’s the very same thing as a Pagan worshipper of Ishtar calling there God with the English word God. Ishtar is a heathen god and the worshipper of Ishtar is most likely going to use the term god, but there god Is not the Christian God. That’s the same picture as exist into Arabic language. Mohammad’s generation believed in 365 gods, but Allah was supreme. Some believed that Allah had three daughters named al-lat, Manat and al-Ussah. Mohammad started teaching that Allah was the only God and caused great rebellion. He settled the argument with a slaughter of his enemies and proved his god was supreme by the death of thosethat disagreed.Next week: "The Ark of The Covenant" / E-mail us with comments or questions.
