Heaven Is a Real Place

Heaven is just as real of a place as the earth. Why would anyone dare believe anything different? God actually has a real throne in a magnificent temple where He reigns over His entire universe. Every star and planet is His creation and beautifies the heavens. His angels are great in the powers which He gave to them and they preserve the total cosmos for His Holiness. The city of Heaven is beyond description. David spoke of this great city, “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King” (Psalm 48:1-2). This is where He directs all the world’s activity. “The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men” (Psalm 11-4). Jesus is right there with the Father and sits on His right hand. Stephen saw Him in this glory, “But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God” (Acts 7:55-56).
