The Antichrist The Spirit of Blasphemy

The one unpardonable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Satan loves this sin because it forever separates the sinners from forgiveness and redemption. The ultimate work of Satan at present, and from now until the end of the Great Judgment, is to promote and create blasphemy against God and against everything sacred. Blasphemy is sweeping the world, and the majority of our world has no clue how to reject or deal with this spirit. Almost every new trend in our culture has an element of blasphemy. Dress styles are becoming more vulgar by the day. Satan hates the temple of the Holy Ghost that is our body and he seeks to blaspheme it to the depths of hell. The body is actually the last of six areas of blasphemy that has invaded our culture.

Five areas within the realm of faith are especially targeted by Satan for blasphemy. He is blaspheming the Father, the Son of God, and the Holy Ghost; he is blaspheming the Word of God and the Blood of Jesus. SatanÂ’s effort is to create a world where everything that represents God has been reduced to an empty shell. Religion must become so cheap and empty that he can then present himself as the true God, his antichrist as the true Christ, and his fun ghost as the true Holy Ghost. Satan is a masquerader and imitator of God, but to convince the world, first God and the truth must be shallow and empty.

The Eternal Creator and God of this universe has become, in the minds of the multitudes, nothing but a sugar daddy. Satan has convinced some of the sharpest minds in the church world to forget, ignore or even discount the holiness of God and his absolute hatred of sin. Our God is awesome. He is to be feared and respected. The new theology pawned off on American churches by Robert Schuller, Rick Warren, and their deceived host would represent God as a squirrelly god. They say and I quote them, that "God accepts us unconditionally." Nothing could be a bigger lie. The only approach any living soul has before God is the sacrificial Blood of Jesus Christ and our repentance and the forsaking of sin by that cleansing Blood.

Second, is the blasphemy of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. Instead of the unique Savior, born of the virgin, the Christ being blasphemed is a universal Christ, manifest in every religious form of all world religions. Those Evangelical and Charismatic leaders that contend for the Catholic Church to be considered "true Christians" have blasphemed the Son of God. This entire crowd is quickly moving from the stage of accepting Catholicism as legitimate Christianity to believing that the "Christ spirit" is also manifest in the pagan ideas of religion. They are contending that the hunger of empty souls, whatever the religion, is sufficient to God for redemption regardless of the religious views. This is all sheer blasphemy against Jesus Christ.

The Holy Ghost has been reduced to the "fun ghost." His activities within the church world have been reduced to cheap television entertainment and emotional fun. The frolicking on religious television is blasphemy. The church world has carried this fun religion into the sanctuaries of America. Holy laughter, angel feathers, gold dust, laughing like wolves or barking like dogs, slaying the crowds in mass hysteria, etc., has become the order in Charismatic circles. The Charismatic church as a whole (there are exceptions) is nothing but an American form of Voodoo. The person of the Holy Ghost has been recreated into a controllable power to be used for religious entertainment. He is being blasphemed all over the church world.

The Word of God was once an infallible guide for living the Christian life. Truth was Bible truth, nothing less and nothing more. The Bible has been reduced to a multiple list using everything from cheap language to a style acceptable to the radical feminist. The average approach to the Bible is cafeteria style. Pick and choose is the dominating theology of todayÂ’s church. The Word of God has been blasphemed into the background behind the current book fad which changes by the year. The Devil is dancing with glee because the Bible is being blasphemed into oblivion.

Worst of all is the blasphemy of the Divine Blood of Jesus Christ. The current theology of the Blood being preached by the majority is that the Blood covers all of our sins. This is absolutely blasphemous. The Blood of Jesus never covers over sin; the Blood of Jesus cleanses sin. What a difference! We hear doctrines like Jesus has forgiven our past, present, and future sins the moment we are converted. The only action of ChristÂ’s Blood concerning sin is when that Blood breaks sinÂ’s power and cleanses the repentant sinner. The Devil is on a campaign to discredit and reduce the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The last blasphemy that touches on the spiritual is the blasphemy of the temple of His dwelling. Our God does not inhabit a building, sanctuary, or a cathedral of religion. His dwelling is the sanctified temple of the believing saints. Satan is a master at convincing this generation that our body is a sexual showplace. The spirit of blasphemy is especially directed at the human temple. We are not just a fleshly body; we are His dwelling place. The Lord said, "If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are." (1 Corinthians 3:17) The dress, demeanor, and general conduct of this generation are blaspheming the sacred dwelling of our God. If He cannot be revealed in us, He is hidden from the world.

Every expression of blasphemy is soon to be judged. There will be no light treatment of blasphemy when the judgment begins. Certain blasphemies are pardonable when there is true repentance, but any blasphemy that is directed against the Holy Ghost cannot be forgiven. Blaspheming His dwelling can become the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost that dwells in that temple. Only the Father knows where the line is drawn in the sand of time for any individual.
