A Vision Of That City

Heaven is our Homeland. The great company that will inherit this indescribable place will be the most blessed of all eternity. Jesus said, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." (St. Matthew 5:8) The theology of the present is cheap and the standard for heaven has been destroyed for most people, but not the Bible. It’s still Holiness or destruction. Our text in this Sermon reveals how important it is to get a vision of heaven that consumes you. The early church lived with the desire to depart and be with Christ., but always willing to stay for the benefit of the kingdom. Apostle Paul said, "For to me to live is Christ, but to die is gain." (Philippians 1:21) They had such a vision of Heaven and such a longing to be with Jesus that nothing could turn them back to the World.
