A paperback Bible versus the absolutely infallible Word of God
There is only one absolute book in the entire world. It is the Holy Bible.
It is totally perfect and does not contain a single error. Nothing has crippled the church of today as has the “paperback Bible.” A Bible that cannot be called “absolute” cannot be trusted. If one thought is doubtful then all other thoughts are questioned. If the Holy Ghost and the host of angels have not kept watch over every truth of Scripture, then God’s Spirit is not sovereign.
The Holy Spirit of God is omnipresent. His awesome presence fills every molecule of this created universe. The trees would dry up and die, all grass would turn to hay, and every living creature would quickly die if the Holy Spirit should withdraw His live-giving substance. Clearly if He is the life of the world, then His position over the Word of God is sovereign. Not one word from the Holy Book can slip out of the Volume. The Holy Spirit is the Keeper of the Word.
1. The worlds were framed by the Word of God.
One of the great truths spoken by Apostle Paul is found in the book of Hebrews: “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrews 11: 3)
This total universe, every order of the planets, the seasons, the perfect measure of every substance, plus every order of life was placed in harmony and framed to sustain life. The complexity of every part is beyond human ability to fully comprehend. Take a human eye and try to grasp all the complexities. Evolution is the biggest lie in the world of science. The Word of God framed this universe and its perfection is an overwhelming truth.
In the Second Epistle of Peter, he joined the great statement of Paul. “For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.” (II Peter 3: 5-7) The word of God literally set every boundary of the complex system of our world. Our worst problems are when men in their foolish thinking tamper with the harmony God has established.
2. The Word of God is quick and powerful.
The loss that has occurred in our church world is mostly the result of the failure to believe and expect the Word of God to fully be manifested. The Bible lies on the table in the family room while we go about life as though it does not exist. At the same time, we claim to be Christians but live only by the flesh. There are no supernatural victories and anointed joys when we forget that the Word of God is meant to be a mighty force in our life.
Listen to the Holy Ghost declare the powerful life and authority that flows out of the Bible when we live by it. “There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4: 9-12) Notice that the Spirit called this the “rest” that is appointed to God’s people. This is Christianity that God appointed to His family, but is almost unknown in today’s world.
3. The Word of God is food for the soul and spirit of believers.
The spiritual life that has been provided for the saints of God is in the Word of God. The only possible way to live in this peace and joy is to feed regularly on the Holy Book. Listen to the powerful life available to the willing. “For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.” (Romans 8: 5-9) This is supernatural life and joy beyond measure.
The Bible calls this, “joy unspeakable and full of glory.” (I Peter 1:8) I go around all the time (almost), shouting and praising the Lord and people act like they think I am crazy. Listen as the Holy Ghost explained the words that I just quoted from Romans. “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by the Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.” (Romans 8: 11-13) This is the abundant life that flows out of the Word of God.
4. The Word of God is the only source of the “Born Again” life.
Becoming a Christian is not just a mental accent to Jesus Christ. Walking the aisle to the front or being baptized is good to the matter of testimony and public announcement, but first you must be “born again.” The born again life is a supernatural transformation from the old life to the new life. Let’s allow the Holy Ghost to explain this powerful change. “Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.” (I Peter 1: 22-25)
There can be no compromise in this absolute truth. You are either “born again” and a new creature or you are lost and doomed to eternal destruction. This generation has not heard this from most pulpits as they should have.
Conclusion
Living in and by the Bible, as an absolute book, is wonderful and life-changing. It is discovering the “Pearl of Great Price” and selling out just to obey and live the New Life. As a wonderful song says, “It gets sweeter as the days go by. It gets richer as the moments fly.” His love is richer, deeper, and sweeter,” than anything the flesh life offers.

Question; “How do we make our election sure”?

The premise of the Bible being the final authority has been so abandoned these days by the “modern church,” it is no wonder that most of their preachers and, sadly, their congregations as well, have fallen so far into apostasy. It’s pretty hard to tell the difference between what society glorifies and what these so-called churches do.
Let’s just consider something: Where does most of what we know about God across the ages come from? That would be the Bible because it has information in at a level of detail found nowhere else. How do we know it’s accurate? Check out Bible Prophecy. Jesus’ birthplace is revealed over seven centuries before the fact:
Micah {5:2} But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, [though] thou be little among the thousands of
Judah, [yet] out of thee shall he come forth unto me [that is]to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth [have been] from of old, from everlasting.
Jesus’ rejection is also chronicled from about the same time in Isaiah 52 and details from his crucifixion appear in Psalm 22. around 1000 years before the event.
Of course there are many more on all manner of topics including the way the world would be as the end of the age nears, things we can now watch on TV and read about in our newspapers.
My point is, if the Bible is accurate about showing us the course of history centuries before it happens, then can’t we also make the conclusion that is is right about everything else?
And if this is so, as the evidence clearly shows, then it must be the product of “Someone” to whom space and time is not a limitation.
The Bible even tells us who it is!
Psalm {90:1} LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
{90:2} Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst
formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to
everlasting, thou [art] God.
{90:3} Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children
of men.
{90:4} For a thousand years in thy sight [are but] as yesterday when it

is past, and [as] a watch in the night.
2 Peter [3:8} But, beloved, be not ignorant of this
one thing, that one day [is] with the Lord as a thousand
years, and a thousand years as one day.
Too bad most Christians today fail to take Scripture at its word.

Brother Joseph, It has been a very long time since I commented on your great teachings. Today, and it is very sad to say, most of church goers have fallen into the trap of reading and believing what these perversions of the bible are teaching,
THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUTH, HIS NAME IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, THERE IS ONLY ONE WORD OF GOD, IT IS THE KING JAMES AUTHORIZED VERSION.
Anything and everything that is outside of that statement, WILL NOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. My words are written in heaven, I watch over My words to perform them.
It is impossible for God the accept any other versions of the bible, they were not inspired by God so they are not of Him.
Let us all stop, repent of our lack of understand, and walk in the steps of our Lord and Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ by His Holy Spirit. A-men.
