Again he spoke of “ivory palaces” where David’s heart desired to be. “All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.” (Psalm 45:8) Heaven situated in the North on the sides of a great mountain would capture the heart of any person or angel, and to all of God’s creation, it is the Homeland. Without question it is the source of what our world calls “the Northern Lights.” There is no other explanation. There is also “The Southern Lights” which is the negative polarity to make our earth an electricly charged universe. Satan was utterly infatuated with the glory of this Heavenly City and it was already his to enjoy in his position with the Father. But he wanted more, and pride took possession of him. When he was expelled, the Father had to charge the Holy Spirit to put limits on him and that is where he has existed to this very hour. Because of these limitations we are warned, “Neither give place to the devil.” (Ephesians 4:27) This future time of Seven Years is called “The Great Tribulation.”

The main focus of this future Seven Years is the final judgment by the Father and His Son. To make that judgment complete, it must allow evil to show its ugly face. We know very little about all that Satan had done to frustrate and hinder our Creator and wonderful Heavenly Father. The world will see Satan’s unlimited dark side. We see that this enemy must be allowed a short period of unrestrained activity. For 6,000 years he has been held at bay. He cannot cross our will unless we first open the door. That is what temptation is all about. We must yield our will before he can take control.

Apostle Paul gives us the picture and description of this dreadful time. “And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (II Thessalonians 2:6-10) This is going to be a scary time. There are several things we must understand.

Satan is already at work and the Apostle calls it, “the mystery of iniquity.” Understanding all the wiles of Satan is impossible. It is called a mystery because it is understood only by discernment and the wisdom of the Spirit. Our world is mostly blind to Satan’s design because human wisdom knows little of spiritual things. When the church operates in the flesh only, then there is no escape. We marvel as the devil draws a growing bondage over the world system and church organizations. They do not have a clue. Even good preachers, well educated, and caring pastors are too busy to hide away with God and the Word. We that are watchmen marvel at the total blindness everywhere.

This truth is clear, the coming release of Satan and his Antichrist from the Holy Spirit’s restraints will not occur until after the Rapture: “And then shall that wicked be revealed” when suddenly the restraint is removed. This language connected to Revelation chapter thirteen places this time as after the great Rapture of the Church. The Holy Spirit has been the Restrainer since Genesis. We will look at this but let’s be clear that the Holy Spirit does not forsake the world but removes Himself as the Restrainer of Satan.

The Apostle does not leave the subject until it is clear that this release of the devil and his cohorts is temporary. I love the words, “whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming” (II Thessalonians 2:8) We are clearly told that even Satan knows his time is short when this hour arrives.

In the very time of creation the Holy Spirit was the restrainer of darkness, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” (Genesis 1:1-3) The Spirit of God moved on the dark and void world as the Father spoke “Let there be light.” The beauty of our great God in three persons is one of the greatest marvels of our Bible.

One of our Bible’s greatest revelations of the Restrainer in action is spoken of in Isaiah. The enemy of our faith has come like a flood at every turn of the church world. When the way seems so clear, suddenly there can be a flood of hindrances. If we are discerning we will immediately depend on the Restrainer. “So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” (Isaiah 59:19) Learning these truths is liberating.

I will share some facts of Satan and His unholy trinity and their freedom to turn this world into a wilderness. The Son of God made it clear that this would be the darkest time in human history. He stated, “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” (St. Matthew 24:21-22) The unrestraining of Satan and his unholy mob, along with the judgments of God, is awesome to consider.

Let’s consider the possibilities of Satan being unrestrained.

• He will not need your willingness, if you miss the Rapture, to torment you to death. There will be no restrainer available to call on. Screaming the name of Jesus will only cause him or his spirits to increase your torments. They will tear your children out of your arms and abuse them to death. Demons will crawl in your windows (read Revelation Chapter Nine) and the torment and tortures will be unbearable. They will do everything evil, dark, and wicked to force you to take the mark or worship the devil. These kinds of torments are too numerous to name.

• Satan will no longer be called an “angel of light.” This façade is for present deceptions but then he will need no such covering. Everything wicked about him will be clear and visible. To even see him or one of his fallen angels is to be frightened to insanity. At the same time the things they promote will be a life of flesh and every desire of a fleshly wicked appetite. Millions that knew the truth will soon be his most committed worshippers.

• Spiritual wickedness will cover the world like a blanket. Twisted emotions called by spiritual names will fill the world. If you ever saw “Todd Bentley” operating on a stage you will remember the emotions created by his religious words and actions. I have watched as crowds went bananas at the worship of his false god. This kind of religion will be the Antichrist’s greatest tool to deceive.

• Satan and his Antichrist and False Prophet will produce great displays of paranormal fireworks, false miracles, and feats of emotion. Astral travel, walking in the air, hypnosis of remarkable action will be everywhere. The world will marvel at unbelievable events that appear supernatural.

• Fallen Angels will commit sex with godless women who will bare hybrid children of the devil. The world’s liberal media will parade these children on national news and call it societal progress. These children will commit sex acts for entertainment and create vile appetites of immoral sub-dimensions.

• Antichrist preachers will commit sodomy as acts of worship and the altars of churches open to this new worship will be brothels. Everything Satan loves will fill our world.

• Ancient religions were deeply involved in the blood offerings of babies and children. It is happening already, especially in abortions, but also under the cover of darkness. This will be the darkest act of the Seven Years of this “Great Tribulation.” Babies and children will be snatched from their mother’s arms and their throats sliced before screaming parents. Satan loves a blood offering and not anything will satisfy his passion to be worshipped like innocent blood.

I know that this article only touches the surface of what is going to fill this world. It is thrilling to know that Satan only has seven years to show the world how sick sin can become.

As Satan reaches the height of his worldly glory and control, and is ready to march on Jerusalem with the armies of the world, suddenly the heavens come alive. “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” (Revelation 19:11-16)

The Antichrist and False Prophet are cast into the Lake of Fire. Satan will be bound in a “Bottomless Pit” for one thousand years, released for a short reprieve and then cast into the Lake of Fire himself. Isaiah said it well, “yet thou shall be brought down to hell to the sides of the pit.” (Isaiah 14:15) He wanted to sit in glory on the “sides of the north” but his end is “the sides of the pit.”
