The Doctrine That Could Send You To Hell!
THE LATEST “SIN FRIENDLY TEACHING” COMING LIKE A STORM IS, “JESUS HAS ALREADY FORGIVEN YOUR FUTURE SINS”. They certainly have not read Apostle Paul’s plain teaching to the Hebrew Christians. “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (Hebrews 10:26-29) This Holy Ghost revelation totally destroyed these “Lying Prophets” false babble. The Holy Bible is a united whole and it never contradicts itself. There are a host of beautiful passages in the scripture that warn us of unconfessed sins and their power to damn your soul. In Galatians after Paul teaches the great truth of “Salvation by Grace” he warns these believers about the works of the flesh and the power of unrestrained flesh to destroy. “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21) Apparently these Believers did not have the privilege of their fleshly sins be forgiven in advance. They stood in danger of losing their place in the Kingdom of God if they did not repent and turn from careless living. Paul settled this debate in his letter to the Romans. “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are PAST, through the forbearance of God; (Romans 3:25) The Holy Ghost has finished the guestion!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This warning is timely. Once I went to a local baptist church and the man asked me “Are you save?” and I said “Yes, but I don’t believe in Once Saved Always Saved” and he replied “Then you are not Saved!”
So I had to leave that Church because it is written:
“Can two walk together; except they be agreed?” Amos 3:3
Good message Brother Joseph and Godspeed

When does a person sins wilfully? Once you convert and believe that Jesus died for your sins..then how can you sin wilfully? Could you please give me an example? I would appreciate it very much.
God bless you
Charles
so ye are saying that, once a person gets truely born again, he never sins again? Or are ya saying that once someone gets saved, and they do sin again, they are no longer saved and are hell bound? or are ya saying that they lose their salvation but can get saved again and again or are ya saying that once a believer sins again, they become reprobate and can never get saved again?
I would really let to know the answer to these questions, because evidently I have been taught wrong. David killed Uriah and commited adultery with Bathsheba, so David is in hell? Solomon started worshipping idols towards the end of his life, so he is in hell? All humans except Christ Jesus, sin period. If you say that you have not sinned, you lie and teh truth of God is not in you.
For ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Your good works will send you to hell
Only those who repent of their sins and ask Jesus Christ to forgive them and save them will be saved.

The only thing I see wrong with this message, is the title! This is not the newest thing going in the line of false teaching! This “once saved always saved” doctrine has been the main doctrine in most of Baptist Churches. They teach, that there is “no sin” that you commit after “conversion” that will send you to Hell. You may lose your “rewards” the say, BUT YOU ARE STILL SAVED! Charles Stanley taught one sunday, that there is “no sin” you may commit, whither it be past-present-or future, that will keep you from Heaven. Among all the false teaching in the Charasmatic camp this is by far “THE MOST DANGEROUS!, How many people will be in Hell, for believeing their sins have already been forgiven for the future. A friend of mine “a Pentecostal” was in a Baptist Church, when the Pastor stated: John used to be in our church, but today he’s at the nearest bar, but
I tell you he is still saved-One more: John, (not the real name) who was also a church member
is “now living with another man’s wife” but I tell you he is “still saved”! DANGEROUS~ I appreciate
the truth of your messages. Send me the “charasmatic CD’S. God bless your ministry-kep it up.

I believe The Lord Jesus Christ is God, The Son of God, and The Messiah; as clearly taught in The Bible. The stakes are too high to be wrong about this.

Todays radio program was powerful,I mean the nail was hit on the head with scripture, the only thing i can say to you if you think this is not the word of God, Then let him who is without sin cast the first stone.
John Hachten
Galatians Chapter 2 verses 17 and 18 states: ”
“(verse 17)But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. (verse 18) For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.”
Paul is clearly talking to Christians here because something cannot be destroyed unless it was already built in the first place. As Christians we need to listen to what the Bible states and in this case the Apostle Paul instead of famous television preachers or the preachers in the local seeker sensitive let’s make every one feel comfortable in their sins Churches.
The problem is that people put more trust and confidence in the once saved always saved doctrine that their favorite television preacher preached or wrote in a book than what the Word of God says. Why are people taking the words of these OSAS preachers that are in direct contradiction to what Paul wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Ghost that is the infallible Word of God?
I think the biggest reason why once saved always saved doctrine is spreading is because people are not studying their Bibles like they should. As insane as it sounds people in the Church world today are taking their favorite television preachers word over what the Apostle Paul wrote and Peter and John wrote!

I get lonely and sin…I pray for forgiveness and don’t want to go to Hell. I’m a terrible Christian and only want to please my Savior yet I go through cycles of sin. I want to be an obedient son of God. These messages help me understand Gods word and to grow closer and be obedient to Jesus. Thank you for your church and web site.

And yet Brother Joseph, sometimes I think you are a bubble off. Maybe not as bad as the televangelists — but sometimes a little off.
Romans 8: 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
NOR THINGS TO COME — would that be sin, persecution, sickness???, — and oh my, what if someone gets alzheimers and forgets they were saved -” are they still saved?”. Like one Pentecostal preacher I once knew — he was so afraid that 1 sin on 1 day in his life, the last day of his life, might take him away from heavens door. What about someone who has chronic amnesia who is saved — “if they forget 1 sin, and it remains unconfessed — then they end up in hell?”
Yes – extreme cases, and I will confess I don’t have the answer to “once saved, always saved”, other than to say that Yeshua doesn’t take back His gift of GRACE very easily, if it is possible to become “un-born-again” then it still must be certainly very difficult to such.
I will agree that any born again believer should NOT persist in sin – but then again I am overweight — so even if I am “born again” — then surely according to you Pastor Chamber (oh you and the Bible) — then surely (I)a glutton who can’t seem to lose weight is in persistent, consistent sin — and surely must be headed for hell — I confess that I eat wrongly one day, only to be suckered in by a eclair the next — 1 eclair must be ok, and 2 must mean I am on my way to hell — May it never be, it was GRACE from Yeshua that saved me.
Yohan John Kunnenkeril
I do appreciate very much the timely material you put out. Yet, in this case, it maybe going overboard and you are sounding a little “over righteous”. I see some merit in what “Frida pardon” and “Charles” have commented on this matter.
Oswald Chambers in My Utmost For His Highest says it very well, in my opinion.
http://utmost.org/the-evidence-of-the-new-birth/ “The Bible emphatically states that a Christian must not sin. The work of the new birth is being effective in us when we do not commit sin. It is not merely that we have the power not to sin, but that we have actually stopped sinning. Yet 1 John 3:9 does not mean that we cannot sin— it simply means that if we will obey the life of God in us, that we do not have to sin.”
Yohan John Kunnenkeril, JOHN TEN TEN
Mark Steiner
Jesus said that the world’s sin is not the nasty nine or
dirty dozen; rather it is unbelief in Him: John 16:9.
Willfull sin is a symptom of this main disease, not its cause.
Adam and Eve were cast out from the Garden of Eden for unbelief. Eating from the knowldge of good and evil was only a symptom, not the disease of unbelief: Genesis 3.
Those who sin willfully as Pastor Joseph pointed out tasted only of the knowledge of truth; given a choice, they chose not to accept the truth. See also II Peter 2:20-22.
Whatever happened the the truth contained in in Romans 10:9-10 and 13?
One more question: do we serve a God who is only grace and mercy, or is He only justice and judgment?
He is BOTH!

Pastor Chambers I look forward to your emails.
Try the spirits, try the teachers, try the pastors, try the doctrines try the churches “whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
Not only sex, money and power have seduced both leaders and the people of God to destruction but these teachings of deception you speak of. Ignorance is the prerequisite for deception, studied neglence that allows seducing spirits in all their names titles and rank to distort and guise the Truth.
But what can we say; I was shot down at home church the other night over this same issue and given a teaching on “justification” – Sometimes I just want to throw up – but the battle must go on and we must continue to move forward.
Regardless I will stand Pastor and move towards this battle for many even “will to be deceived” but these many are trapped and ignorant of Satans devices; yes many are “rebellious and stubborn or proud and unteachable with spiritual pride and this entrapps them even more but how do we not continue to fight for our brethren?
Fundamental truths like what you bring forth have to be hurled at the adversary to set these captive free, and we must stay at our post and fight the fight regardless of losing our head so to speak.
Pastor Chamber the Word of God stands truth, if we will just search the scriptures to see if we are in the faith
God bless you for fighting the good fight for the freedom of the brethren

As I have said before, I also believe the Bible does not teach OSAS. Again we have Paul’s “branches analogy” (Romans 11:17-25). Branches can be grafted in or cut off. If it applied to the Gentiles and Jews of his time, why not to individuals as well for all times?
Also consider Revelation 22:19. A person previously in the book of life (saved) can be removed (lost).
Why also would John have written this?
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:8-9)
It appears to me our active confession of our sins is a necessity. Under OSAS doctrine, this would be “automatic.” That is certainly NOT what John is telling us here.
The danger of OSAS is to produce “lazy Christians” whose complacency may ultimately cost them their salvation.
Jesus said no one (a third party) could pluck anyone away from his hand (Jon 10:27-20 8, but it says nothing about a person who decides to walk away on their own.
Thanks for bringing up this vital topic, Pastor Joseph.

I’m afraid we worship a different God, my God has sent His Son to die for my sins, all of them, not some. My God has promised me that He will bring to completion the work He has begun in me & has sealed me with His Holy Spirit as a guarantee the moment I believed that He sent His Son to die for me & at the very same moment adopted me as His son & has given me a new life in His Son, giving me at the same time a new birth, a spiritual birth & adopted me into His family. He has given to me the free gift of eternal life at this very same moment, by His grace, not because of anything I have done or will do at any stage of my life thereafter, but because of what He has done. My God tells me that He is faithful in spite of my unfaithfulness & that nothing will separate me from His love in Christ Jesus. My God is a Father who chastises me when I fall & disciplines me when I am disobedient but never threatens to kick me out of His family, but lovingly draws me back to Himself & grows me in my spiritual walk with Him through these times in my life maturing me as His child. My God has paid the ransom in full & has bought me with a price, the blood of His only Son & has therefore justified me putting me in a position to stand before Him legally, pure & clean, washed in the blood of His Son & He sanctifies me day by day as I walk with Him in this life till one day soon He will glorify me when I meet Him face to face. My God commands me to abide in Him but when I fail He picks me up & puts my feet upon a Rock & remembers my sin no more, the moment I confess it. My relationship with my God is one of love & acceptance, who knows the end from the beginning so my life is laid out before Him even before I lived one single day, He knew before the foundation of this world whether I would accept or reject His wonderful plan of salvation & ultimately salvation belongs to our God & unto the Lamb. He created me & knows every hair on my head & knows me more intimately than I know myself for He is a great & a wonderful God, a God full of mercy, compassion, loving kindness & grace. A God who created man knowing that we would sin against Him & that He would have to send His only Son to redeem us!! Such love, such grace, who can fathom the unsearchable riches of our God? If one rejects this wonderful plan of salvation then the consequences are unspeakable this is the truth.
You claim to read the whole of the Bible & take the Bible as a whole yet you quote scripture that supposedly contradicts other scriptures & see no wrong in this? Either the Holy Spirit is contradicting Himself or you are misinterpreting scripture? I would suggest that the Holy Spirit would never contradict Himself & that the fault must therefore lie in your interpretation of passages in Hebrews & Galatians for example which on the surface clearly contradict plain scripture. I would suggest that you look at your interpretation, by looking at who it was written to & why & take the context into account.
Your God is a God who threatens to throw you out of His family should you fail & have unconfessed sin in your life, so you strive to do good works continually for fear of losing your salvation, something in my opinion you cannot lose, so your faith is no longer in your Saviour but in your striving because according to your belief the cross was not enough if you take it to its logical conclusion. This is what Catholics believe & the very reason they rush to a dying person in order that that person might have confession. This is religion at work not faith, this is Pharisaic, this is what our Lord condemned as hypocrisy. What a travesty. If I die & have not confessed am I doomed to damnation? Surely the blood of my Saviour covers my sin? Solomon died in apostasy is he in hell? All old testament saints were looking forward to the Messiah, all were saved by faith if you read Hebrews 11 not by obeying the Law. The Law was given to show our utter bankruptcy before our Creator & our total helpless state. I will be saved by my faith in my Saviour not by obeying any laws. In effect you are reverting back to obeying a law again
You say you believe in eternal security but not once saved always saved?
What is the difference? Either you are saved or you are not. According to your belief one can lose one’s salvation be unborn again & then repent & be reborn again?
This is just stupidity. “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us” 1Jn 1:8. We are all sinful whether they are wilful sins, sins of omission or sins we are totally unaware of, we are all sinners. This is the reality of this fallen world in which we live, this is why we are in need of a Saviour is it not?
I will enter into dialogue with you but I will not argue with you, this is not honouring to our Lord & I do honour Him & acknowledge that He is my Lord & my Saviour & to Him be all glory, honour, power & praise. I pray the Lord will bless & keep you & make His face to shine upon you.

Dear Pastor Chambers,
Thank you for your bold and timely message. I I understand from the Bible that the relation between a believer and our Lord Jesus Christ is based upon love (John 3:16, Rev 3:20, John 21:15, II John 1:16) and for someone to be able to love God, that person must have freedom of choice or free will. That means the believer still has the ability to sin (not love God). So backsliding is a real possibility that exists for all believers (Heb 10:38). Also to say future sins are already forgiven is false according to II Peter 1:9 and James 5:19-20. I struggled with this subject about 10 years back and I received (free of cost) a book named which has much information regarding this subject. I thank God for such preachers who really care about the souls of people.
God bless you.

Brother Eric,
I spent a little time in this broadcast warning people about spinning the Scripture. The Seminaries spend mush time teaching their future Pastors how to the spin the Bible in surport of Church dogma. Listen to the Apostle Paul. “But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.” (1 Corinthians 4:2)
Brother Chambers
Let me explain this passage in Hebrews..
The man referred to here is the one who comes to church, sits down and hears a good, solid Gospel message. He even experiences the conviction of the Holy Spirit.
But at the altar call, he sits glued to his seat. When the pastor dismisses the congregation, he walks out the same as when he walked in. No conversion, only rejection.
THIS is the man who received knowledge of the truth, and then willfully sinned.
This is NOT a reference to a saved person, but a reference to the person who hears the Gospel and the calling of God, experiences real conviction of his lost condition, and
Then rejects it.
Here is what you do not understand: A truly saved person does not have the same desire to sin as he did before salvation. Can a saved person go out and live like the Devil and still
Go to Heaven. ABSOLUTELY! However, I do not know of any Christians who actually do this. The Holy Spirit will pull them back, and they will have no doubt within themselves that they are
Doing wrong, and must stop. If they will not repent, well, God my call that wayward child home. A dishonorable discharge from the Lords army, if you will.
I was ETERNALLY saved by the Lord some 16 years ago. My salvation is provided and kept by God. My salvation hasn’t come and gone, ever.
If any man held his own salvation, as you seem to believe, NO ONE would ever make it to Heaven! We would always mess it up. The Devil would undoubtedly cheat us out of it.
Thankfully, Christ himself holds our salvation.
It is your salvation that I must call into question. You seem to believe in a ‘works’ salvation. Impossible. Check up, my friend. Make your calling and election sure.
John Dunn
Reply to Mike.
Mike, I commend you for you understanding of God’s saving grace and His ability to love us even though we as Christians, washed in the blood of Jesus, still have that human trait which, from time to time, causes us to yeild to Satan’s call and sometime sin. And God forgives us once again of that sin if, as you so appley point out, we confess it. But there is one more aspect to our being “put right” before God and that is repentance. And that is what we are talking about is God’s desire for us to confess our sin, to repent of it, and put it away—so to speak. I think you would agree with me that there are some Christians who continually have an unconfessed sin or sins in there life and just “excuse” it away in some manner because they do not want to turn from it and leave that sin at the cross. This is really what we are talking about here. You might say, “Well, then those people were never Christians to begin with. Not so! Scripture makes it clear that there certainly are Christians that are pleagued in this way. But the Scriptures also make it clear that if this is so, then that person cannot inherit the Kingdom. It is a persons failure to confess and repent (turn away from their sin/s) that bars them from the gates of heaven. Your right, works has nothing to do with salvation. It is a turning of the heart. The warning is that we do not take advantage of our freedom found thru the blood of Christ and use it as to have “sin abound” in our lives as Paul said and he was talking about “future sins” after a person has accepted Christ. All this doctrine stuff is difficult to understand and rectify sometimes, but I know that you know that any sin we commit in the future should not be willful and there should not be a sin that we dwell on and continually let it get between us and Christ/God the Father. If we keep this in mind and try everyday to please God, that is the important thing to dwell upon and not all the arguments over doctrinal issues.
Mike
Brethren,
in defense of Pastor Chambers, and I’m sure he needs no defense, you who disagree miss the point. God expects you to live according to the only perfect example set that God honors, His Son Jesus Christ. Will we do it perfectly? No, not this side of eternity. But understand, that profession of faith does not give anyone a license to go out and sin and break every commandment God gave of how we should live our life in holiness. A true believer will mess up, but will be reprimanded by God, sometimes severely, until we learn the lesson. God’s school is a lifelong endeavor, but no one, I mean that sincerely can willfully sin as a drunken foul mouthed sailor, chasing harlots, or being in homosexual relationships and call themselves Christian…It’s oil and water..they don’t mix. I wrote an article on my website that I invite you to read objectively. Read it and pray about it. Remember, Catholic folks believe than can live like the devil to be absolved of their sin by a priest. Please do not make the mistake that you can live like the devil 6 days a week and repent every Sunday. God knows you have not learned His lessons, and if need be, can and has taken willful sinning Christians from this earth prematurely in death, to prevent losing them entirely God Bless you,
Pastor Mike Taylor

Brother Pat,
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (!! Timothy) Arnold is my friend but he is wrong to spin the Bible in that fashion. All Scripture is for all of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pastor Chambers
Hello,
The Hebrews 10 scripture always terrified me, but then I read Dr Arnold Fruchtenbaum’s commentary on Hebrews, and it became clear. The book is written to Hebrews, Jews, who had heard the gospel, but who were considering going back into Judaism to make their lives easier, because of fierce persecution by religious Jews. If they had gone back to the old sacrificial system, they would be openly denying the sacrifice of Jesus at Calvary. By denying Christ’s sacrifice, there would then be no further sacrifice for their sin of rejecting the truth and willfully going back under the Law.

Brother Ed Wood has raised the case of a believer who decides to walk away on his own,
and the image that comes to my mind is the devil swimming in The Flood Waters disguised
as a lyre-playing siren, enticing Noah’s Sons to jump overboard and water-frolic…
Today for CHRISTians, there is no want of such enticements in the world.
JESUS KNOWS The Unbearable Satanic Pressures on HIS believers After they had received HIM,
SO HE MADE PROVISIONS For their sinning in I John i : 8-9, iii : 9 and ii : 1.
The Question of Sinning Against THE HOLY SPIRIT Must Be One Which Keeps us In Constant
Fear And Trembling ( Philippians ii : 12 ), Which Are Not Good Works.
On This Point, The Author Of Hebrews ( Apostle Paul ) Cannot Agree More With The Beloved
Disciple, Author of I John.
I remember a Sermon by the Pastor of my Church ( he is With CHRIST Now ) where he said
that one who fears of sinning Against THE HOLY SPIRIT, will never sin Against THE HOLY SPIRIT.
Such a Grievous Sin is not an isolated event, but the result of a whole chosen way of life.
As JESUS’ WORDS In Matthew xii : 32 WARN us.
We Bible-believing CHRISTians must consider The Whole WORD OF GOD As For All Ages And all
peoples. It is in this sense that we can speak of The Church As “Spiritual Israel”
( although Physical Israel Has Never Ceased To Be THE APPLE OF GOD’S EYE ),
for The Old Testament, Every Word Of It Concerns The Church Too, Albeit More In A Spiritual
Sense, Since JESUS’ COMING HAS MADE LAW HIS GRACE.
THE LAW OF GOD ORIGINALLY FIERILY SET IN IMPLACABLE STONE, IS NOW SPIRITUALLY WRITTEN On our hearts, for us to live in This Age Of Grace, But Which Cannot Go on For Too Much Longer.
One Image That Comes to mind Is The Parting Of The Red Sea To Let The Hebrews cross on Dry Land
( Exodus xiv : 21-22 ), we CHRISTians are traveling This Path Since The CRUCIFIXION.
Like Moses’ People who fumbled and stumbled on The Way but who kept on rising up and going,
we CHRISTians too relapse in sin and backslide not a few times,
But GOD HAS MADE PROVISION For us.
However The Signs Of The Times Remind us That Time Is Running Out For The Waters To Close
In Again WHEN GOD LIFTS OUT HIS HAND.
If we tarry on The Way and abuse HIS GRACE, willfully testing The Limits OF HIS SAFEGUARDS,
As Satan tempted JESUS TO DO SO On The Pinnacle Of The Temple ( Matthew iv : 5 )…
We may well be in for a nasty surprise.
The Story Of Disciple Judas Is Still There To Serve As A Constant Warning.

Each person existing had an attitude, from the moment of reaching their age of accountibility, of basically either being FOR or being AGAINST God…either LOVING God, His divine authority, and his Biblically-revealed laws and doctrines….or HATING God, His divine authority, and his Biblically-revealed laws and doctrines.
All of us, at some point in our lives (whether early or later) have come to the inevitable realization that we MUST either TOTALLY and COMPLETELY commit ourselves in ABSOLUTE surrender to the Lord….or do the opposite. Our inner motives are revealed, as time goes along, by our fruits.
Karl Marx, studying at a German university on a thesis relating to “I Am The True Vine” Scriptural Text of Saint John, was an avowed communist atheist a couple years later. Charles Darwin, studying to be a priest, soon became an atheistic evolutionist. Hugh Hefner is the son of a Methodist minister, I heard.
In stark contrast, Saint Paul, who as Pharisee Saul had always wanted to please the God of his ancestry, when thankfully enlightened on the Road to Damascus, and got the expression of that God-pleasing intent he had always had….dramatically corrected.
A person’s inner feelings about God and what is related to God – whether FOR or AGAINST – never really changes. At whatever time or times in a person’s life the Holy Spirit makes it clear that the call to God’s holy requirements, a concurrent saving relationship with Him in acknowledgement of HIM being THE Savior (and not self-righteous or distorted conceptions of what “sin” is and is not, nor human justification by faltering human faith alone nor mixed-bag human works with human faith) and are for real with eternal consequences, are the times when a “conversion” or (better yet), reaffirmation of what they always felt occurs or becomes more and more obvious (whether that event is a church confirmation as a teen, response to an altar call, or whatever).
A genuine Christian’s attitude toward actual Scripturally-defined sin is a constant abhorrence up to and including the moment they die….a realization that, although they sinned because of non-solicited outside duress…are not perfect, although perpetually commanded to be perfect, in exhibiting love for Christ by doing all of what He had Scripturally told them to do and by keeping His commandments, as He Himself stated.
It “takes two to tango,” and Christ’s atonement does not apply for those who misconstrue such to be a license to sin, as clearly indicated by the verse “If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remain a SACRIFICE for sin…” which sacrifice is not one emanating from ourselves by being baptized or by chomping on the “body of Christ” nor slurping “the blood of Christ,” but is instead CHRIST’s sacrifice of HIMSELF by HIMSELF on a cross – which sacrifice itself is yet intrinsically valid for the penitent, but non-applicable to the arrogant and callous-to-sinning “once-saved-always saved” infidel heretic.

I hate eternal secuity, and this goes along with it. You are supppost to hate sin as does the lord. Please stop calling the Holy Spirit a ghost that is bad! Do not use the KJV it is a bad bible full of mistakes. like calling the holy Spirit a ghost. and in Romans it calls the holy spirit an it which is an error. Go to the new NKJV whihc corrects all of the mistakes.

Yet — we who are saved are all members of the same body — so should I claim that this guy should learn Hebrew and Aramaic?? and skip the KJV altogether??? So one may hate the term eternal security — yet does that make it NOT true???? What if I take offense to this guy calling the Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit — perhaps the Ruach Hakodesh would be more appropriate. Maybe we should get this guy a Complete Jewish Bible (old and new testament).
the whole point is NOT to pick on one individual but to illustrate that in these last days — hardly any group of believers can seem to get along with another. We pick out small things and make them big, and take big things and discount them. This is a generality about the True Church — Now shouldn’t I caution everyone that the Sabbath is one of the 10 commandments and it is on Friday at sunset until Saturday at sunset????
this whole comment section can be summed up —- let’s all walk together with Yeshua (Jesus) day by day — and then we wouldn’t have to be concerned about which ones doctrine is the right one — OSAS, GRACE THAT SAVES, YESHUA NEVER LETTING US BE “un-born-again” —– should we eat Kosher?, or oblige a brother/sister who didn’t know our aversion to pork and shelfish who invited us over and cooked us the most luxurious ham for dinner?????
let’s all learn to live, love, and support one another in these waning days of our existence in this flesh — and be about the business of Lord while we still have a little daytime left — BUT I am betting NOT MUCH daylight at all!!!!!!!!!!

If obedience is termed as work, then we can also say that obedience to the Gospel (ie accepting and believing it) is also a work!!
