Daring Faith is Your Answer
The present church world is very religious and woefully helpless. Our church is one of the best, but even we have a many more unanswered prayers than answered ones. Look around our congregation and consider just how many of our precious family need a miracle so desperately. There are hundreds of unsaved sons, daughters, wives, husbands, and grandchildren, etc. Hundreds! Why? We know that our God will keep every promise in His Bible, but most of us have loads of unmet needs and troubled family members. Sin is triumphant all over our families’ lives and yet our God is supernatural beyond question. He has plainly said, "If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14) What is missing? Daring Faith.
God is supernatural in every ounce of His person, but unbelief blocks His action at the door. There are no limits with God; He can and will move mountains at the expression of a mustard seed of faith. We do not need some giant expression of faith barreling out of us. It is not our faith that moves God to start with. It is His faith in us by the Holy Ghost. The church is full of people trying to muster faith out of their flesh. A mountain of "flesh faith" would still be flesh and our flesh is helpless. "It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life." (John 6:63)
His Holy Ghost is awaiting your utter surrender to His divine powers within. When we tire of all our push and shove and become yielded vessels to all of His supernatural gifts, then and only then, will the work begin. "According to the power that worketh in us" (Ephesians 3:20) is the pattern of New Testament glory. It is foolish to try to make it all happen in our own strength. It is so simple to give all that we are to Him so that He might take complete control of our helpless vessel. As soon as He is the Master, the seas will cease their roaring and the Kingdom will be revealed.
Will you surrender to His faith in you? Daring faith is the outflow of a pure temple where the Holy Ghost has set up the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Can you say, " I surrender all" and mean it? It does no good to surrender in the church and then walk out the door and take charge of your will again. In fact, it’s utterly frustrating to your own life. We need to be changed, not emotionally titillated.
Daring faith is natural to the Holy Ghost but unnatural to your flesh. Surrender to His control today.
