Jesus Christ: Lord Of Everything
This is Christ own words, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty” (Revelation 1:8). I love that term, “which is, which was, and which is to come.” The world thinks they have life by the throat. Mankind in their own self-will and personal pride seem to believe that they are the center of life and that everything revolves around them. Yes, God has given us the choice of the world of sin or Jesus Christ and life, but the world itself is under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. While men and women are going their own way the stream of life is going God’s way. That means that any person that is not under the Lordship of Jesus Christ is going either directly contrary or at least mostly contrary to the ultimate way of God’s world. People wonder why this life seems so out of balance when the answer is so simple. The Bible says, “And he is before all things, and by him all things consist” (Colossians 1:17). When Jesus arrived back at His Father’s side after He was resurrected, the Father made Him “Lord of all.” The world may be following Satan, but the Son of God is directing the entire world to His desired completion. It’s exciting to know that sooner or later, and I believe sooner, every knee must bow. The Bible is extremely plain, “For it is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11). While the multitudes are refusing His call or surrender, they must in the end confess that He was Lord all the time even when they denied Him. The world hates the Son of God. I just heard about a video at the Smithsonian that depicted Jesus on the cross with ants crawling all over Him. The public outcry has caused the authorities to remove the blasphemy and the art world is screaming. All I can say is, “He is still Lord!”

I long for His appearing.
Long for the day when every knee shall bow
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
KING OF KINGS AND LORDS OF LORDS, come quickly!
Blessings,

Hello Pastor Joseph.
Every knee will indeed bow before Jesus one day. People do have a choice, though: They will either bow before him as Savior . . . or Judge.

GOOD NEWS…yes we still hear some today 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely, JESUS CHRIST is LORD, one day (maybe soon) these people (if they don’t repent) WILL face HIS judgement, they laugh now, not later, our LORD will not be monked for HE gets the last WORD!

Is Jesus now Lord of all to the church only (as Saviour, Intercessor, etc.) or is He presently Lord of all creation also? Or, will His complete Lordship only occur after His return?
Perhaps this dynamic is correctly pointed out in the song “He is Lord” in which the writer states that, indeed, He is Lord presently but only completely when “Every knee will bow, every tongue confess, that Jesus Christ is Lord is Lord.”
And, also, to what extent will that Lordship be turned back to the Father at the end of all things, so that “God will be all in all.”
Thanks.
Brother Jim,
He is Lord of All His and our World except “Human Will”.
Those that refuse His will will have to bow and confess
at the future moment when human will has run it’s allowed
course. Soon I believe!!!!!
